LIVE GAME Round 23 Discussion

Live Game Discussion
I know the whole wrestling thing changed the way League was played (for the worse), but especially in the last 10 years, Melbourne have constantly set a high benchmark for the rest of the comp to follow.

The game we know today with the high physicality, high skill level and next level endurance, it's because of Melbourne's benchmark IMO.
Generally I agree.
Let’s not forget the cap cheating, referee manipulation and all the many ways to injure your fellow footballer.

McLean looked offside to me
It seams to me that’s another rule they only look at every now and then.
I would like to see it again because I’m with you I thought he was off side.
When Tuvulu got penalised for lift his boot I thought again one of the parra players was offside and inside the 10 metres.
Can’t see why the bunker doesn’t have the technology like soccer does with the line that they use for offside decisions.

Should be the fricking touch judges making calls on blatant off-sides and forward passes as it was in rugby league for the first 100+ years!!

These flogs getting paid five figures to run the sidelines just to put their flag up for the kick/ball/player going into touch & penalty goals/conversions between the sticks is ridiculously unprofessional in f&%^ing 2024!!

Big NAS peaking Richo’s interest with play like that.
First time I’m watching this game.
Big NAS playing right back row which I’ve mentioned previously could be a great option for us if it came to be.
You can just see how much room Hughes has with the threat of Nelson outside him. First try, Nelson sucked in both Wighton 5/8 and Milne C with a decoy run, invaluable!

They do rule on offside (sometimes)
Tigers lost a try a few years ago because the bunker adjudicated ken M was offside. Going by the lines on the field he was onside but they could tell his ‘foot’ wasn’t 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Tapine just sprayed the ref
Got 10 mins in the bin for dissent

Love to know what he said

The way things are playing out with GC losing yesterday and the Raiders getting hammered now... The Knights can jump from 12th to 10th tomorrow with a 30 odd point win
