Twaly is a good bench role player at most clubs. His lack of impact just stands out in a team without any big weapons. All teams have honest toilers.

this is imo the worst thing about the end of the season
cause those players that are leaving will start to play well than we are left wondering if they were not performing on purpose which leads us to thinking how there still in games after not performing on purpose

Should both be in Reggie’s imo. Doing it to Naden and Bud, why not them ?

Although sometimes it’s difficult to believe, we are a professional football club with professional players contracted. The club has a duty to field its best players whenever possible and the professional players should be relied upon to play their best when representing the club. It’s not primary school so we don’t do things out of spite or malice or experimentation considering we should still be trying our best to win games.
If there were arguably better options to replace them then maybe.

Firstly, I’d argue that Stef and Papalii are not going to contribute so significantly better than other options, to the extent that it will make so much of a difference that we win a game or two.
Yes, other options may not be better than Stef right now, that is also not a realistic expectation.
Secondly, dropping them and playing other options would not be with malice or spite whatsoever. In around six months time, when season 2025 rolls around, we will regret not giving these other options a chance to get some experience.
And even if we won games, attributing the wins to Steph or Papalii would be a dissatisfying in my opinion.

We have nothing left to play for, so we absolutely should be experimenting, which I believe is in the best interests of the club.
