Sezer, Douehi, Faataape all got to go

I'd hang on to Solomona, there's a good player in there somewhere.

I'm not saying that he should be playing first grade every week, just that he shows enough to justify persevering with him for a while yet.

Not his fault that our depth is shit.

I’d actually prefer to see Doueihi at fullback for the remaining games. He can’t play in the centres anymore, his defence is just too consistently bad. One thing he is, is safe as houses under the high ball.

He is even worse and more exposed at fullback.Seriously i would strongly consider moving him on

He will probably have to because with Sezer's record he'll most likely be suspended for the remainder of the season.

Now let me see, that would be his 3rd suspension and about 9 weeks on the side line through suspension this season.

Please don't tell me we have re-signed him.

Man, Mason came in without fan-fare and every time he has taken the field he has played so confidently. Really like what I see of him, but again - no idea where he fits in.

I think he has going to be a very good player. Let's hope the club will splash the cash to bring in Billy Slater to work with him as he has great potential. It is up to the club and Mason to develop and he has I read re-signed with the club which is great news.

South’s were very average
we were better than normal, scrambled well a fair few times .
scored some good tries .
players had a dig and yep made some mistakes but were also good .
We need to come out hard against manly and take DCE out of the game , Brooks will be on a mission but he will be easily put off , just get in his face .
Spoon will,be decided against Parra , with those slimmer getting it

Yeah I was saying this a fair while ago, but it's by no means a sure thing that we play off for the spoon at Cambo in the final round.

Still a bit up in the air, we have Manly at Leichhardt and a bye while the Parra-sites have Broncos at Suncorp and St. George at Commbank before the final round.

Everyone needs to be cheering for the Broncos and the Dragons the next 2 rounds.

Our biggest issue is defensive technique on the fringes but realistically everyone of our players needs to perfect one on one ball and all tackling around the chest.

You can see a clear example of how we really don't know tackling targets in the following example.

Souths first try (I think) where Faataape comes in when he really didn't need to but to compound his misread he hits at the waste where that was always going to be the sliding defenders target zone. Had he come in and only had eyes for wrapping up the ball the try wouldn't have happened. Instead it's an easy offload for an easy try.

Once he winds up he shows some surprisingly good speed but his issue is giving up on the play way too often.

He needs to be catching 100 high balls everyday after training.
That's what a champion does. Goes the extra mile to make a weakness a strength
