Thats interesting. Though, If we got dispensation from the NRL for turvana to play, then surely that would only apply if star is unfit? Maybe there is something there where he couldn't play with turvana's exemption - or else, he plays firsts

Benji and AD making the right noises about flushing the last game and renewed focus on Parra. Now we just need them to turn the talk into action. Something more edgy about the way these fluff pieces are compared to what they were doing last season. Not sure if it is the way I'm receiving it or it is what is actually being said and the body language along with it.

There’s a reason Danny Wanker is there . He’s fishing and leading questions . You have to address it because the question was asked . They gave the only correct response .
You say “not answering that question , we are looking to the eels” you look defensive and uptight , go into depth about how awesome the team is , you’re buying tickets on yourself .

What a load of bullshit . The fact you’re calling it the “Darius Boyd approach” 15 years later shows it was completely not the correct approach for a generic press conference . He came across as a wanker , vindictive and childish . And he could have been completely justified in his response .
Or when Ben Teo said he wasn’t going to talk to Weasler in his presser .
The idea is to play a straight bat and give them nothing .
The Darius Boyd or Marshawn Lynch “I’m just here so I don’t get fined” just adds fuel to the fire .
