We're full strength and the Knights are fielding a patched up squad, still Gagai, Best and Ponga can punish us, as long as our kick chase isn't staggered and our D line moves up as one all game we can handle them. The way we've been playing we should beat them and do it convincingly, this is a great test of the guys mental approach to games, usually when we hit a bit of form in the past, we come against teams we should beat and would help play them into form. I think we will get the win even if it's not pretty but we need to start to learn to win these games we would be expected to. Looking at current form we are 2 - 3 to start the year but could have just as easily been 4 - 1 had the bounce of the ball gone our way, last week was the only week we really lost a game. Fingers crossed fam.

Pretty confident we can win this, they're missing plenty and we are full strength

Kick to Marzhew every single time! He tends to drop them and if we get in his face we limit his yardage. Bulldogs did it perfectly last week
Is Jeral marking him? Put a few shots on early LOL

Klein is the worst ref in history
Never forgive him for that blunder a few years back in the GP loss to Broncos in Round 4. Incorrect call, they get a penalty goal in front to win, subsequently we miss the top 8 by 2 points that year. Would we have been a threat? No, but it breaks our finals duck....and we wouldn't have finished 9th lol

Or his great call from the bunker against the Cowboys when Feldt took a 9.5 dive off the kick off and they got a penalty and kicked the goal to win after the hooter by 1 point I think, our guys were screaming at the ref that it should have been a penalty our way because the kicker was standing outside of the half way before kicking it towards the sideline. Kline in the bunker didn't even check that piece of 💩. They got the penalty for a blatant dive and lo and behold on Monday N.R.L come out and say yeah sorry kicker was offside should have been a Tigers penalty nothing more to see here, that's how it goes. Then the clown pretending to be a chairman threatened to issue to get the 2 points.

LOL...their forum is a**...it's so dead. There is an interesting thread though, where they speak about the performances of ex-Knights players. I wonder what's being said about Starford LOL1744162545844.png

I feel this year win/loss doesn't matter as much as long as we show consistency and do many of the little things right. We still have a very young squad.

However, a win here is very important for confidence and self-esteem.
1. We don't want to lose 3 games in a row
2. Knights already beat us once and on paper, both squads are quite even
3. We are full strength

Losing this game will really affect us mentally IMO so I hope for the sake of the younger players, we win this game.

Was that at Cambo where issaako kicked the goal?
What happened exactly i recall being pissed off but cannot recall the incident exactly

It’s always a funny game when we’re playing the Knights in recent times. We haven’t beaten them in the last 3 seasons. Knights have won the last 7 games we’ve played against them.
And that would be why they are short priced favourites this weekend especially playing in Newcastle.

Just returned from overseas and watched a replay of last weekend’s game against the Broncos, I think everyone knows that once we start getting injuries we will struggle especially against the top sides so I wasn’t that disappointed on how we played,
I was impressed with the defensive side of Sukkar’s game
(Which is the first thing I look at when judging a player)
Didn’t show much in attack but that would hopefully come with more game time and confidence.
Nice to know we can use him when needed to cover for 2nd row.
I am a bit concerned about API’s defence (relax I don’t want to drop him) just noticed him missing a few this year and that could have been the reason he got replaced earlier than usual against the Broncos ?
I’m loving Jack Bird’s effort but did also notice him dropping of players the longer the game went which confirms he is better suited to starting on the bench and playing in the middle not out in the centre’s as I think his Centre days have past.
Let’s hope we can stay injury free for most of the year and enjoy the effort our Tigers are putting in this year.
This team is building and are travelling along all right at this point as I think we are still a couple of players off being where we all want to be.

Bird has been great for us coming on when we normally start to struggle in that 15 min. period before half time. He and Hunt have been a formable pair coming on together. Unfortunately, the last two weeks, due to injuries we have not been able to use them both in that role. The difference has been very noticeable. The real truth is it just shows how poor our depth is.

We should win regardless of game being in Newcastle
Why because with our first choice 17 we are just a more solid team across the park
Biggest danger to this prediction is Ponga and Sharpe and Best
These 3 can sidestep the best of defences and must be marked closely and given little time and space to do their thing
