The Knights’ season has mirrored ours in many ways. They’ve lost experienced players, but they’re still showing plenty of heart. They’ll turn up ready to compete, so we’ll need to be at our best.

With Best, Brown and Ponga all unavailable - three players who have often caused the Tigers problems -this is a genuine opportunity. If we bring the same intensity we’ve shown in recent weeks, this is a game there for the taking.

Looking at the bigger picture...not only is there the chance to secure that elusive third straight win, but we then face a Broncos side likely to be without Reynolds, Walsh and Hunt. There is a real opportunity to turn the coming weeks into a strong winning run. In a competition where Storm and Roosters and Broncos currently don't have the top spot secure - we can use it to strengthen our spot in that top 4.

Pole's been less than impressive for a long time. Not sure why he's a walk up start. Sione's earnt a start, I reckon. Give Pole a stint as a benchie. Might show us if he really wants to improve.

Benji needs to unlock Bula…. He is not the attacking weapon he should be.
Benji or Bula himself...the onus is on the player to be a student of the game and be in the right place at the right time in attack.....great fullbacks also play a link role which I have yet to see this consistently from Bula

I would tweak the backline a little. Maka not getting enough space at centre.

Kudos to the kid for making defensive adjustments on the fly in FG, in no way trying to be critical. Just want to see him unleashed with a full head of steam
I reckon this time at centre has probably accelerated his development a lot. He could be cruising on the wing but is learning some tough lessons and quickly making adjustments. I hope Benji is encouraging him to stay at centre and keep growing as a player more quickly.

I don’t think it’s about who’s better, more about the combination of Terrell with Pole and Sione with Royce.

Terrell and Pole usually play the first 25mins then are both a switched for Royce and Sione. Royce and Pole are too similar to be on at the same time and also the least reliable middle defenders of the 4.

Basically, Pole needs to be along side Terrell for defensive reasons, game style and balance of strengths and weaknesses of the 4 man prop rotation.

Pole’s best performance in a while yesterday. Got us going forward when we looked a bit beaten in the middle early.
