LIVE GAME Round 7 vs Eels

I think you get either one or the other but not both, but otherwise I totally agree.
I thought if a penalty try was awarded no sin bin. But if no penalty try then it was a penalty and sin bin. I could be wrong. Maybe the contact wasn’t hard enough?

How the hell was that a hip drop, I think it went up as a dangerous tackle, maybe I'm wrong but I thought it was okay.

How did Moses not go for contact with the head in a try scoring situation and only give away a penalty.

Maybe not a penalty try but surely worth 10 in the bin.

Surely it was worth more than just a penalty.
I reckon the bunker saw Samuela’s leg graze his foot on the way down. It was nothing and incidental contact in a contact sport.

We fairdinkum need to start putting tags on the sides of the players shorts and be done with it.

We've already beat Parra at Parra this convincingly this season, I don't think that's the issue here.

Galvin being dropped & the return for Parra of Moses (plus some questionable refereeing decisions) are the reason we lost today. Doueihi at half should be a big no no from now on. It would have been better to keep him in the centres with Naden on the wing. Lack of depth is starting to show, especially in the halves.
I know it's a bit late and maybe I'm clutching at straws but didn't Naden play some of his best in the halves in reserve grade?

Reasons we lost:
- Mitch Moses changes that Parra team (I hate him)
- the emotional toll of the week
- it took douhei and Luai 50 minutes to figure out how to play together.

I thought the refereeing was dubious at best. The shot on May should have been 10 in the bin or a straight send off, which changes the momentum.

I think we will bounce back next week. We showed heart.

Also out of position a gazillion times which resulted in 3+ tries, no where near the 40/20 missed crucial tackles on the big line breaks…

Kids good with the ball in hand - we had 40odd put on us though by a team that’s won 1 game….

Great isn’t a word that comes to mind
Geez he's been found out big time in defence this season.

This loss really hurts, that first 10 min in the second half killed us.
That was bad, I thought the turning point was Tito giving away the escort penalty in the first half when Bula had it covered. We were well on top and gave away an unnecessary penalty and they scored soon after.

I honestly think the team beat themselves early by being illdiciplined....six agains and cheap penalties always gives the opposition momentum..Benji has some work to do to get these blokes heads right and into a space where they work as a team for the team..
They did try hard to recover but they should never have had to be on the back foot to start...
