LIVE GAME Round 8 v Raiders

Live Game Discussion
You are much too kind, it's more like 1 good game in 4 seasons.

Just cannot fathom what Benji sees in him.
At the start of the year we’d have said that about Twal, Hunt, KPP, and probably a couple of others. To’a’s first game last night. Given how many players have gone to new levels this year, I would wait and see what he brings over the next few weeks before dismissing him. He’s always shown glimpses.

To me, the one player who’s remained meh so far this year has been Pole. I think if we were struggling it would be much more noticeable.

Im really sick of Api's lack of discipline. He's had so many indiscretions this year he deserves a suspension.

Luai escorting again...fair dinkum....he does it non stop
Api deserves it, the rest of the team and the supporters don't.

So, who is our hooker against the Sharks?

Something we have all been concerned about is about to bite us on the bum.

I’m surprised last night was the first time another supporter base has mocked the clap to my knowledge. Not sure how it’s taken 10 years. The most obnoxious BS in the game, and totally unoriginal (Stole it from the Iceland football team). Here’s hoping other supporter bases take note and do the same thing moving forward. Treat it like the joke it really is.
Parra fans did it aswell a few years back

Ehhh let them have their fun, I thought it was cool when Meninga blew the Viking horn before their 2019 grand final and everyone joined in

I think it’s a cool, unique thing. Great for their fans and players. What have we got?

A few wins and our fans are getting cocky. Not sure I’m a fan of that. Nothing worse than a fan who’s full of yap. Dragons and Manly fans are the worse when they are winning.

Looking at Ricky's presser, there seems to be a pattern with opposition coaches after losing to WT ... in an amazing coincidence, teams tend to play really badly against the Tigers.

It couldn't have anything to do with the opposition playing a powerful, bustling style, could it? Nah, the teams just happen to have an off day when they play Tigers 🙃
Yeah of course, no credit where credit is due. I actually thought Canberra played pretty well, we just played better, God forbid!

The one concerning issue from last night (and the Parra game) was our inability to overcome a 12 man defence when a player is sinbinned. In both games we looked like WT circa 2022. No cohesion, effort or commitment.
Our defence structure this year has been very Penrith. Fast and physical. Is that we are so rehearsed, that when we lose a man we can’t seem to adjust? It’s something that we need to learn to do as players will get binned and we cannot afford to let in two tries per winning.

I don’t think so, I’m pretty sure I’ve heard other teams supporters mocking the viking clap after beating Canberra before. Couldn’t pinpoint exactly who and where it happened but, I definitely remember it happening.

Only positive is that if we lose he’ll finally play madden at 7 where he belongs. Toa and Turuva may as well be statues playing outside of AD
Doueihi is our most dangerous runner but he can be selfish and needs to work on his passing game.

Absolutely loved the Viking clap and the chant dissing Canberra.

Haven't forgot the gesture that offended the bulldogs last year when we beat them.

We're adding a bit of grub [mongrel] to our game... and we're winning.

Hopefully we stay winning.

When the reverse Viking Clap took off, the crowd absolutely lost it.
Can't remember when everyone was so into such a winning feeling.
Will long live in the memory.
Oh, did I also mention the Royce Hunt try?
Now that's a memory we'll be talkin' about for years ......
