Eddie Jones’ team goes head-to-head against Michael Cheika’s Los Pumas in the 2023 eToro Rugby Championship, on Saturday July 15 at Commbank Stadium.

An especially tough day for the Pirates, having a player red-carded in the 15th minute, being 14 nil down, coming back to lead 21-19 and then falling at the end.
All in all, the boys gave their all.

What a day for the West Harbour Pirates, coming off 5 consecutive losses (4 of which were by a close margin of 8 points or less), the team today was behind 17-nil in the 1st half, and came back to be leading with 1 minute to go by 24-22 over the Rats.
Only for the Rats to score a converted try in the last minute!!

Unreal story of bad luck - I reckon the forward pack today had to shake hands before the game for introductions - they change every week due to injury and suspension. A wonderful effort, all things considered.
