idk how true this is but their salary cap sure is shifty.

however, gotta say how well a team like manly has done amongst all this. roosters, storm and manly have definitely been the benchmark of the comp for as long as i've been following NRL and apart from the "calf's blood" accusation, manly have held their head high in the admin department.

not to mention their no-nonsense, never say die, tough yet skilful approach to every game they play.

not the most liked team in the comp by a mile but definitely a team worthy of respect and more.

They only used 90% of their cap in 2012 and had hardly any players backloaded, along with the cap increase last year its how they got Jenko SBW and Maloney

Maloney was front loaded wasn't he? They paid him out of 2012 before he even came to the club.
