Rumour - Steve Folkes a possible coaching contender

And with the pressure on the new St George coach (Price) after 2012 it is more likely Dragons will offer Folkes his job if he doesn't deliver in the first 3 months of 2013\. That's probably why they signed him in the first place..insurance

And that's a pity cause I think Folkes would bring a lot to our Club in 2013.

He is the only option with history at the club that I would seriously consider. A big fat no to anyone else who has been here over the past decade including Simmons, Gentle and Georgallis.

I think Folkes would be a choice I could be happy with, not my first choice but, but certainly not against it.

Any coach will have pros and cons and there will be some weaknesses that those plumping for someone else can poke holes in, and I can see a few negatives with Folkes but he does offer plenty, id be satisfied, but not elated.

There's worst choices out there (ie Parish, Brown, Taylor etc) but I still wouldn't mind getting Kevin Walters as head coach.

From the Bellamy pedigree and can probably help Benji's game being a former champion 5/8th

Folkes however would certainly harden up some of these boys.

I'm hearing Folkes will be appointed coach. He is yet to be mentioned in the media but I hear that he is the preferred choice due to his knowledge of the club, his relationship with the senior players, his experience and more importantly his price which will be considerably less than what sheens was on.

Whether the board give the players what they want is to be seen, but take it as truth Folkes is their preferred choice.
What's the bet you will start to hear his name mentioned sooner rather than late once the media get a hold of this

And sheens won't be looking over anyone's shoulder. His position he's been offered has nothing to do with senior football operations

Well it's simple. I'll give him an example.
I have just watched the weather on the news, so I'll predict tomorrow will be fine and sunny. I've stated my source, with out revealing the weather person. If things change I could be wrong, but I'm just stating what I heard. It's simple people, not this crap knock and run.
