Want to see him do it against quality opposition

Levelling the 6 and 11 next weekend legally would be nice ....

Matto is normally #12.

He'll be 11 after Packs is finished hopefully .....11mm that is

His aggression was great. Eyeballed a few of the Broncos upstarts and led the way with physicality ala JWH. Here's hoping he backs it up again next week against Cat Matto and friends.

Matto broke a nail and is out for a couple of weeks

He doesn't have to be on the field. Aloiai punching 7 shades out of the Cat in the carpark will suffice.

That's if he plays, he has an appointment with his beautician to fix his fingernail.
He might know what's coming, so he might miss next week as well.

1st stint outstanding. Helped set the platform. More of the same, Russell!

Hate to say it but offered a lot more than Clark at prop

Totally different class of player. Packer for the most part has been a terrible signing but when he’s fully fit and in the right frame of mind he’s an elite front rower. Can’t wait to see him, Aloiai and Twal rip into Parra next week.

Matto and Moses have been trying to book a dinner at the Crossroads all week

Well done to packer for proving most people wrong. If he can play like that consistently then what a pack when you add twal and musgrove. Well done also to Madge. Tonight we seen the difference between a coach that holds his players accountable and a coach who is picking players week in week out regardless of performance.

He has never been so fit and healthy. His effort all night was fantastic.

I'm glad he was given another chance, he showed his value in defence, attack, aggression and leadership
150 Meters
30 Tackles 1 miss
0 errors
0 penalties

So good to see but for me, the best stat of them all was 52mins out on the park!
Before tonight, he guy has had just 12 minutes game time this whole year.

After coming out of the blocks full throttle, at the 5 min mark I saw the hands on the hips sucking in the big ones and thought - oh no....but he kept going and going even running a heap of decoy runs to go with his hitups.

Have to admit that after his last effort I thought Packer was incapable of a controlled strong performance like that and was ready to wipe him forever. Very happy to say I was wrong and to see him play that well. His best game in WT colours in my view. Deserves a start again next week.
On the other hand McQueen looked gone after 10mins on the park.

So he should he is one about 750k Clark is on a lot less probably less than a quarter of it

Watching the highlights and reading the comments here it sounds like Packer had a great game I'm glad he did, I think he owed it to his teammates and the club and fans so I'm glad to hear he went well, hopefully he can continue for the rest of the season

Lots of knockers on the forum about the big fella....
Finally fit he dished out a big slice of get that up ya,,, well done Russ Packer
Throw Rowdy in the mix too sometimes the old are better than the new

Was good last night played well. Was definitely better than McQueen.

I’d say McQueen will be making way when Twal is back next week. Probably Eiso to the bench but hope he can still play decent minutes
