Don't mind him because he works hard but he is good for a run of stupid penalties.....

Blame the refs....

hahahaha I'd rather blame the stupid play instead.....

Ive been blaming refs all season...... its been atrocious

I agree to a point, but man our players have done some silly stuff

Would depend on price and length of contract.

Would be our 2nd best forward by a long way.

We need a forward leader as a prop. Team hasn’t been the same without Matulino. Twal has gone backwards when he got injured.

Yeah absolutely and at the right price you would take James. But if its another long 3-4 year contract on huge money, we have to be very careful.

I think Twal is a bit overrated around here. Solid player, but very little impact on a game.

He's a good player.
GC captain too.

Smart signing if we could pull it off.
Cusp of origin selection in recent years.

@WeHaveCheeKam Twal hasn't shown any improvement this year although I think for a guy of his frame he's been used wrong. He has a lot of skill.

Also, if you have Twal you don't need Huth nor Taylor nor McQueen, who are all essentially being asked to tackle, control the ruck and make dirty metres.

considering what fair dinkum said in the suggestions thread that there's a back rower from north of the border that's agreed to terms it may well be James.

Would love it to be Fifita.

Yeh me too, but Fifita has a contract for next year, so does James mind you, but I can't see the bronco's allowing him to leave early, James on the other hand I could see being released early.

Read that donkeys are confident that they'll have a new deal signed by November 1 for fifita

Probably right, they wouldn't want to lose him, and they have access to untold 3rd party agreements

@GNR4LIFE great to see you continue to be the shining light of the forum, just thought it would be good to factor in

It’s a completely pointless fact. He’s a professional athlete, not a mug like us. Sorry, to be brutally honest.

@GNR4LIFE I believe a factor in Teddy's decision to join the roosters was that he actually supported them as a youngster, so not completely pointless to consider whether a player actually likes the club to begin with, before considering signing.

I’m sure the millions of dollars they threw at him had nothing to do with it.

If you had two teams offering you one million dollars a year to play for them, and one of them is the team you supported growing up and the other is the sharks, it starts to become not such a 'pointless fact' now doesn't it..

No point even discussing us signing guys like James, Capewell, Procter or Ramien. Until we can off load Packer, Matulino and Reynolds (none of which is looking likely) we can’t sign anyone of any value bar some third string hooker to fill in for Liddle until he recovers, if ever. With hookers like Luke, Segeyaro & Koroisau on the market next year we chase Fa’amanu Brown for God’s sake! Like who?? We’ve signed some juniors from Qld who may or may not be up to NRL standard in 2 or 3 years. Whoopie doo! The reality is that’s all we can afford - 2020 is a lost cause.
