@GNR4LIFE I believe a factor in Teddy's decision to join the roosters was that he actually supported them as a youngster, so not completely pointless to consider whether a player actually likes the club to begin with, before considering signing.

I’m sure the millions of dollars they threw at him had nothing to do with it.

If you had two teams offering you one million dollars a year to play for them, and one of them is the team you supported growing up and the other is the sharks, it starts to become not such a 'pointless fact' now doesn't it..

Lol the Sharks weren't offering him a million. Anyway, enough of that little germ.

I know, it was a hypothetical and the sharks were the first team to come to mind when I was trying to think of a less attractive option.

No point even discussing us signing guys like James, Capewell, Procter or Ramien. Until we can off load Packer, Matulino and Reynolds (none of which is looking likely) we can’t sign anyone of any value bar some third string hooker to fill in for Liddle until he recovers, if ever. With hookers like Luke, Segeyaro & Koroisau on the market next year we chase Fa’amanu Brown for God’s sake! Like who?? We’ve signed some juniors from Qld who may or may not be up to NRL standard in 2 or 3 years. Whoopie doo! The reality is that’s all we can afford - 2020 is a lost cause.

And if the 2 queenslanders turn out to be really good we can only hope they want to stay down here and not go home to Brisbane

really appreciate such uplifting comments.
We just need to also know that the WT Coaching staff report that they will have easy off season sitting on their hands as there is zero cap $s, no decent players (just nuffs) to recruit and the sun will not be rising (or setting) at Concord Central next year … just 9 months of total desperation scheduled for those of us that prefer to whinge about our club over and over and over.

I don't know who the sudden authoritarian is but there's a huge amount of people that seem to get banned recently. I'm not sure what it's for and how valid it is but one assumes it would need to be something very serious. I'm thinking perhaps people get banned for one week to cool off and then are allowed back? Sure hope so. Far too many posters have been banned.
Minor offences should be a warning, repeated warnings should lead to temporary bans, and then scale up to permanent bans for the most serious offences.
