Ryan Matterson

Usually I’d be skeptical of a kid who looks good in a Roosters side because it would be the easiest job in the world. But Connor Watson this year made me rethink that. He was great for the Knights. I guess uncle Nick only buys the best, and that includes the juniors he poaches.

I dont get the JWH hype, He had his own team against the rope's with ill discipline last night and thats a consistent trait in his game.
Yes he's big and yes we need big….but we dont need big and stupid.

Watched Matterson, young, big, strong, gets involved Looks the Goods

Has a good kicking game and is very good under the high ball aleast we have a target in the air now

I saw him yesterday run an angled line towards the sideline, step & straighten and then offload out perfectly, all at full pace which isnt easy

Matterson and Radley changed the game when they came on. They got the ball moving and really picked up the pace of the game.

I don't get a lot of the buzz around Crichton. I really hope that signing works against them.

I'm a huge fan of Radley, he's going to be a great footballer. Matterson looked great as well. He'll be a very handy pick up.

I haven't been a big fan of JWH, but I thought he had a really top game against the sharks. He would certainly add some grunt and intimidation to our team. Not fussed either way.
