I know for a fact that a high profiled name name at the Wests Tigers was seen having a drink with an ex NRL coach just last night. Let's see Ron Burgandy whooops I mean georgebeema give you the scoop on that one

I know for a fact that the players are united in that they want Nathan Brown. Some were with him over the weekend.

You're quite possibly right mate. I really have no idea who they want.

If it is Brown , the questions have to be asked

Where is the money coming from ??

Can we afford any more player signings ??

Will he buy a 7 , or talk Trent Barrett out of retirement ??

WT will struggle to sign any big names because of poor financial position.
WT are paying massive dollars on interest for money owed on the failed balmain leagues club redevelopment .

Daniel Fitzhenry is doing wonderful things with South City down in Group 9 … Two grand finals in two years.
He has to be the pea for the job ... Master coach in the making ... Possibly even a captain/ coach if we leak more personnel before next Feb.

If Sheens has to go: Toss it to Fitz

Brad Fittler?,my Niece(Cousin's Aunt's Sister) works for 9,talk he has an offer on the table to coach in 2013 and has run that past 9 Exec's,may be just as SoO assistant but may be the Tiger's.

I got no problem whatsoever with Brown, infact he'd be my second choice behind Daniel Anderson. But he shouldn't be hired just cos the players want him. They've had enough influence over the yrs and is partly the reason why we are in this mess. Time for the board to stand up and show whose boss

If Brown is Coach, Jamal Lolesi will be his Asst.

Now that is complete fiction. WT don't pay any money to either owner because they've never made a profit. They are most certainly not paying any interest on Leagues Club debts.

I get the feeling George may be trying to drive a wedge between Balmain and Wests here by saying Balmain's financial position is costing WT quality players, which is just pure BS.

Thanks George best news I have heard in ages,and Brown would be ideal,young and going gangbusters at Huddersfield,St Helens liked what they saw,and if Hodgo rates him that will do me.
He is also a former hooker,Robbie would have to like that too,and as such would know the importance of having a proper 7,plus it would mean no Sheens and no Royce,you bloody beauty.

Well this has certainly made for some light reading today. Suffice to say with Sheens impending departure just hours away, who will become the new WT coach becomes the new talking point for us. I suspect three candidates have been considered:

1\. Parish (most likely the cheapest option)
2\. Brown (has done well in the UK and would probably go well here)
3\. Potter (I don't know anything about him but he seems well regarded from what I've read).

Concerned that Parish has been untried as coach. Woud prefer Brown.

As long as Sheens is gone I am happy with any other coach. New direction needed big time.

Now lets sign up Kite, Jennings, a decent halfback like (Townsend) and another big bopper.

Also sort out Farah's contract and make him a Tiger for life.

Not fussed if Marshall leaves as we appear to have talent coming through the ranks.

I wonder.. if we'd won against the dogs back in round 24 .. and subsequently gathered momentum from defeating the then premiership favourite to go on and make the finals .. if all this discussion about replacing Sheens would still be going on. Would Ryan and Heighno still be leaving? If not, a lot of fall out from from just 2 poor refereeing decisions.

A month or so ago, I would have said that.

But things have gotten decidedly worse. Sheens position is untenable. The players/club/fans are all on board at this point.
