Can anyone please explain to me how we were going to sign Luke Lewis? If reported everywhere that we had salary cap problems???

It doesn't quite add up. We had money to throw at Lewis, but now we've lost Ryan and Heighington and there's no word on Tuqiris resigning and we seem to be under pressure. There'd have to be another signing in the works or we've paid huge overs for Anasta, Pettybourne and Thompson.

I agree, it looks like WT administration did not and doesn't have any plan, it is all band aid at best :frowning:
It looks like we don't think in advance, which players shall we/can keep when we look for the new acquisitions, and there is subsequent panic when we realise that we over promised/overspend.
We don't care about our bank account and salary cap until it is too late, it is all 'she'll be right" and blind hope :frowning:
The result is we panic and are forced to run 'fire sale' e.g. Gibbs, Ryan etc :frowning:

If theres anything left in our cap it would be wise to hold off on new recruits until a new coach is employed…at least he might get one player he wanted.

I strongly disagree. Plenty are willing to come out of retirement for one more tilt at a premiership ring. Once again you're wrong, please get your facts right.
