Salford City Red Devils after Superstar!.

Owner of a superstar horse stable and the head of the ambitious English Super League strugglers Dr. Marwan Kakoush has revealed that he instructed incoming coach Iestyn Harris to look at the possible signing of out of favour Auckland Blues Super 15 player Benji Marshall.
Marshall who had been the playmaker and fan favourite at the 2005 NRL Premiers Wests Tigers made the highly controversial decision to turn his back on the NRL but has been rarely sighted in his new role at the NZ franchise.
If Marshall is so out of favour then he would gain a certain release and then he would come right under Salford's radar as Benji would be classifed as a Rugby player and thus exempt from the salary cap, the owner of Salford has already sacked the former England coach in Brian Noble who had achieved success at Bradford & Wigan and now needs a quick fix solution it appears.

I hope he takes up the offer and wins the Grand Final with them then Wests Tigers win the NRL Grand Final and everyone knows what happens next HAHA

Salford city is where pea heart Mullaney plays I think now, and Benji may well usurp his position if that goes ahead.

The Midget will think Benji is trying to run his career.

Dr. Marwan Kakoush is quite a piece of work

Thinks he can buy anything, and thinks has the right to tell his players what to do and how to play

Bottom of the barrel is salford, last stop saloon

Wonder if he is regretting not signing with the Tigers now ??

If we kept him there is two scenarios that would have probably happened:

a) Benji hits 2011 form because he allows Brooks to play his game and focuses on his running game etc.

b) Benji overplays his hand and doesn't allow Brooks to do anything which results in 1 win from 5 games.

You didn't read my question

I'm wondering if Benji is regretting not signing with us now

Not what his performances would have been like

I reckon if he had his time back he would of resigned

He backed himself to succeed in Union. That's an admirable quality. But I'd say with his efforts so far in the Super 15's he's probably having regrets. Only Benji knows whether he really is regretting it or not. Would like him to find form wherever he ends up in whatever code.

Option B for sure!..no way Benji would've listened to Potter like Farah obviously has done this year,,,,,

If Sheens nabs the Warriors gig I wonder if Benji will stick it out another 12 months in Yawnion then sign with the Warriors? I read somewhere he and wifey just bought a place in Auckland so makes sense for them to stay put.
