Samuela Fainu #280

Has anyone specifically confirmed lisfranc? I've only seen "foot fracture" reported, up to 12 weeks recovery. Not all foot fractures are lisfranc injuries.
There are quite a few joints in the foot and two of them are considered Lisfranc

If the break is in cuboid, navicular, anterior process calcaneus etc it wouldn't be Lisfranc.

Diagnosis I guess is irrelevant. I assume he wouldn't be allowed to put weight on it for 6 weeks and then 6 weeks of recovery.

I honestly want to know how he fractured it though. I assume multiple bones are involved or it's a high risk one like navicular or Jones

Given the club put forth 12 weeks rather than indefinite or something longer for his return date, surely it can't be Lisfranc. That would certainly be season-ending and I'm not sure why they wouldn't be transparent with such a diagnosis.
