Satisfaction

I'm personally satisfied that we've come this far. After the injuries that have hit us, the loss to the Roosters, and the road trip we had to make, to beat the Raiders was simply amazing.

I'd still say this has been an incredibly successful year and be very satisfied even if we lose to the Dragons. For me, everything for now on is a wonderful, blissful bonus. I've missed this feeling..

well i had to vote B as i would be disappointed if we lost.. but a few days later i would agree that it has been a good season regardless

probably the same sentiment as most - whilst i'd be bitterly disappointed if we get beat by the dragons, you'd have to be kidding yourself if you aren't satisfied by the season so far. We have entertained, but learnt to grind out wins at the same time, so hopefully it at least bodes well for the future

we are getting better at grinding out wins but we are still miles behind the dragons and titans in this facet however the natural ability and brotherly team passion is very high in this team.all thing being equal next year should be even better as players lke dwyer fifita lui murdoch masila ayshford and lawrence.get another year older.also we have moltzen and hopefully a fully fit tuiaki and 2011 looks superb.

100% happy already
they have done all I asked for: to be dominant.
Not only that, they came back from a serious internal issue midway through the season and have defied the odds without Tui and Moltzen

Bring on 2011!

Regardless of where we go from here, it's been a great year. No other club could lose their Half-back (Moltzen) in Rd 5 and progress as far as we have.

As said, I think most will agree…

I secretly believe that this next game is the final (as it was in '05). If we happen to lose (especially if it mirrors the Roosters game) I'll feel as though we were really the 2nd best team this year!

Agreed Kul, this is ultimately the over-riding factor that'll keep me happy all off-season no matter what happens from now on.

After seeing so many failings over so many years, and after being plagued with injuries I voted D….

All year one of my Doggie supporter colleagues had been constantly whining about how his team was plagued with injuries, and thats why they didn't make the 8.

I showed him our injury list, and simply said - "we came 3rd" - Shut him up real quick.

Considering all the obstacles we have overcome this year, third was a wonderful effort. Also if your good enough to come 3rd it would have been disappointing not to at least make week 3 of the finals. Win or lose I will be a very proud Tiger fan come Sat night.

How scary is this side going to be next year if we get a bit of luck with injuries.

have to take the opportunities when we get them. we might not make the finals next year because we could get alot of bad injuries. we can win it this year

Hope we win it, hope hope hope, but I am happy with this years effort from the boys. Great just to see us in the finals.

I hope we win the whole comp however I am stoked with the way the team has performed this year.

Our forwards have going great. Benji and Robbie have been inconsistent however they have also been on fire at times. We have had injuries that would have killed us previously and we are still here.

Plus we have put in some performances that have shown huge amounts of character.

Great achievement to have got this far

- Most injuries by an NRL side in history to make the top 4
- came back from 3 losses in a row and then a humiliating 4th to Souths. I thought the season was over, and our style of play finished.
- Strung 7 from 8 wins - some very gritty marginal wins
- from one of the most heart breaking semi's losses in history, went to Canberra and beat them in a major semi against the odds.
- did not give in to the the rumors and speculations during the year - stuck together through it all.

Even though at this stage it's not a grand final win like 2005, this year has been just as remarkable. The stars alligned for us 05, this time the footy Gods have really tested us.

GREAT YEAR TIGERS - NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS ON SATURDAY.

very satisfied with the way the team has gone this year.
yeah some of the losses caused alot of heart ache and soul searching, and at times massive frustration.
but they are the wests-tigers, and they are the team we support.
at beginning of each season, we have no idea what kind of ride we are in for during the season.
so we get on and hold on.
but I for one, would not swap it.

I am very happy with the way Wests Tigers have performed this year given all the obstacles everyone has mentioned.

Let's look at the positives;

Mitch Brown - has played a number of positions and has never let us down. Imagine an offseason and a permanent full back role next year. This guy has size and strength just needs more belief in his ability and learn to chime in more.

Lote - still an outstanding player and a crowd favourite. Outpacing Dugan showed he still has pace.

Ayshford - come on leaps and bounds this year. Needs a decent winger outside him as he breaks the line. I believe he will be moved into the forwards.

Marshall - played every game and at times unstoppable. Rate him with Mortimer, Daley , Kenny and Phil Blake as some of the games best entertainers.

Gibbs - Has finally stood up this year and his defence is first class.

Ellis - Super star. Best buy ever

Galloway - if he can string together a few games he has the size and strength to be a first class prop. State of Origin next year.

Lawrence - all class and another one to play State of Origin.

Payten - the heart and soul of our defence

Fulton - what a comeback. His defence is incredible and runs good lines in attack. Another 5 kilos to the frame would be good.

Heighington - always gives 100%. Great he resigned for a couple more years. He would be my captain.

Farah - what a great player.

The big bonuses has been the development of Lui, Dwyer (like to see him run out wider), Fifita (needs to improve his defence but his size and strength), Moors (surprised he did not play more NRL) and Daniela (hasn't his defence improved). They can only get better next year with the experience they have gained.

Then we have Ben Murdoch (future super star), Sean Meaney, Latu (to replace Ryan next year if TT is still out), Aaron Woods, Jake Mullaney coming through.

Hopefully Moltzen (to play half back with his combination with Marshall) and TT (missed the big fella) will be back next year and Fitzhenry will retire and Beau Ryan knows State Cup.

This year accept for the Souths game I believe our team his given our all in each match hence the reason we won close games this year. Folkes has given our team the ability to win the close ones with our fitness.

Still would like Sheens to use the whole bench and not carry a back. Fulton, Ellis and Dwyer can all cover the back line.

To beat St Chockers we need to ambush them in the first half and put points on the board.

Bring on Saturday night then next Sunday. 2011 is shaping up to be another great year.

Good post Everett…

This season has been an amazing rollercoaster. At times brilliant, at times dreadful and for the greatest majority above average.

I really want the Dragons done tomorrow night. If everything does however go to script then I'll still be mighty happy with our work this year and will be super excited about next.

I voted C.

If ya asked me where we'd come at the start of the season, I'd have said 5th or 6th (and that's without the injuries to Moltzen/Tuiaki not playing)

Now that we're in the prelims, I'm happy and anything on is a bonus. Worst we finish this year is 3rd overall, yet still a bloody good shot at the title.
