Scary Stat from last night

Did anyone else hear the stat that our left hand defence is the worst of any club for any third (meaning right centre or middle third) in the entire NRL

Very telling stats ,hope we can come up with a solution for the rest of 2013

Chris Lawrence should never pull on a Wests Tigers jumper in the NRL again.

He is god awful. I don't care about the excuses he is done. Farm him out to the ESL. Just get rid of him

Sounds harsh Smeg, but i think you are right. He has deteriorated as a player since the hip injury and his defensive reads just keep getting worse. Might be time for Rowdy to hang them up and focus on his business interests.

Not that scary. Lawrence = tries for the opposition.

Pretty obvious, but aysh is a big loss i really hope its not a broken leg. He looked alright? so maybe 3-4 weeks with a sprained ankle or something?

Harsh but true, if we want to be serious tough calls like this need to be made, though I'm sure there will be plenty who will "wait for him to come good".

It probably comes across much harsher then I hoped.

It is a terrible situation and he deserves the support from the club to rehab the injury.

They have a duty of care to him but it is professional sport and you put your best team out there and it has been 12 months since he made a good comeback from injury to everyones amazement. These hamstring issues were present long before the hip issue though

Mick Potter is the one responsible for this statistic. It was obvious to all and sundry from game 1 this season that Lawrence was being carried by the team. Yet Potter did not have the courage to drop him. If he did we would have by this time of the year seasoned one, most likely two, young centres into first grade. You can't blame Tim Sheens for this one.

A tough call for a brand new Coach to drop a veteran centre in a form slump. He would need some big kahunnas to do that, but I guess its easier for us, were not the coach.

Everytime a team shifts the ball we look like we panic. There is just no decent line speed. They move up a bit and then stop and wait for the other mob to run their plays.

I agree guys lawrence is no longer up to it…but last night moltzen didnt help either...surely moltzen needs to go as well..Im trying to think of any strengths he has.

We will see if the replacements waiting in the wings (No Pun intended) can step up and fill the void for both the centers across the coming weeks.

Next 4 weeks will be a challenge but a good opportunity to blood some youngsters

Simona or Brien in the centres with Ready, maybe Brooks or Miller in the halfback role. You could utilise Thompson in the centres, he has a lot of experience there, probalbly a good idea and we can covewr him with another forward. Genius!

He's pretty fast. That's about all I can think of.

The other stat is we are the most penalized team in the comp…our discipline is very poor and that needs to be addressed by the coach...

Ivan Cleary managed it with an origin centre.

I think the most alarming stat is the most penalties in the comp, i think it is this that is killing us.

Penalties are very costly in the modern game and we are strangling ourselves with them every week.

Lawrence was carrying injuries and some team mates on his outside.

So much for having a go and trying to carry the team through tough times….....You don't get much thanks for that do you......
