Schuster's a shot duck!!

To have that opportunity and just waste it kills me.

He can pay for the best treatment in the world. He’s in a position so many people wish they could be.
You...and the rest of us have no idea what position he could be in.

If its a MH issue its not wastin anything, its a symptom

Just cos you have the talent to do something doesn’t necessarily mean you have the desire or passion.

I’ve always suspected that potentially the best rugby league players in the country never made it to first grade level.
I knew a fella back in school who played lock, everything came natural to him. He was built like a brick outhouse, was as fast as the wingers, hit like a truck, had great ball skills, never seemed to get tired and was a leader on field, often winning games on his own.
He HATED the game, but respected his old man who loved it, so he’d show up and play. Gave the game away in year 12 despite us doing everything to convince him he should keep going. Scouts used to go to his house and he’d hide from them. Rep coaches would yell at him for not showing up to trials or tournaments. He just could not stand the thought of doing this for a living.
I haven’t seen him in many years but apparently he still does FIFO and really enjoys that.

Everyone is quick to throw the mental health card around.

Phil Gould's comments (whatever you think of him- he's generally got good intel) suggest that football just isn't very important to him.

That isn't mental health. That's life choices.

If he doesn't want to play football- I hope he makes his choice & lives his best life.

Jamal Idris had all the talent. But he's a wandering spirit at heart. You live one life- do what makes you happy.
