Seating at Cambo

How do the rows on the eastern side stand at Cambo go?
Row A at the front or does it start at the back/up top?

I always ask myself the same question before I get tickets, but from memory 'A' starts at the bottom and they work their way up.

Eastern Grandstand
The Eastern Grandstand offers some protection from the rain, but is dependant on the weather conditions including wind and the direction of the rain. In general terms Bays 19,20,21, Rows V, W, X, Y, Z, AA, BB, CC, DD, EE, FF are protected from the rain.

For all other area, bring your wet weather gear.

OK think Ive worked it out…AA, BB, CC, DD, EE, FF are the upper areas eh?
Looks like about 26 or so rows lower level

Row A is the very front row. I often sit right at the back which is Row EE.

Thanks guys….so rows AA BB CC DD EE etc are NOT up the top level? Upstairs?
Or is it at the back of the ground level?

It runs up from the front with
A, B, C … Y, Z.

Then continues as
AA, BB, CC... EE.

I'm not sure how upper level seating is determined as I've never been up there.

No worries. Yeah it's interesting, I was at a game last year and noticed the middle bays were taped off, and as you said, classified as General Admission.

As I have been to Campbelltown many times over the past few season. On that eastern grandstand, there is only one level which goes from A to EE. With the top you can see all corporate boxes. Often for NRL Matches Bays 19,20,21,22 are gold I believe. However for the trial I think they will be more relaxed if you sneaked over.

There are two levels which you can sit on the Western Grandstand. But they are all gold ticketed except for the two end bays on the lower level.

Here is the sitting plan for the match on Saturday.

The top levels are corporate boxes. A few years ago I sat in the very back row on the bottom deck and just before the game it poured rain, the row I was in (centre of the stand) was one of the few rows that didn't get drenched. If you can, you are better off sitting in the western stand if rain is the issue.

I bought GA tickets too online last week & was allocated seats but when i called Proticket & Wests Tigers they said that was a error that only seats that are resereved are on tunnel side.

Thanks mate, interesting those bays are classed as GA but you purchase specific seats

Proticket wouldn't know Ink, sold us tickets upstairs last year for the Parramatta trial at Campbelltown. Daughter was so happy she had front row seats on halfway in the grandstand.

Problem was they sold tickets in a row that didn't exist. Tickets were sold in rows that would have been where the tunnel interupts the rows.

Lot of disgruntled people that night I can tell you.

GA on the day would be the only way I'd deal with them again.

Yeh Ive usually gone GA at Cambo…was in Bay 23 or therebouts for last year Parra game
I think the worst of the rains passed anyway.....few days back looked like it may be a wet one

Same thing has happened this year again, I bought tickets which after checking found they didn't exist seems Proticket were using and old seating map. Hope all will be OK when I get there with the 'new' tickets.

How did you check cunno??

I won't bore you with the long story Ink but in short I was in touch with memberships about my season seating after I bought the tickets for this weeks game and I mentioned how good the seats I bought for this weeks trial were and the person I spoke to realised that those seats don't exist. Apparently they used to exist before the stand was upgraded and proticket were using an old seating plan. I have been issued new seats for this week and I hope I'm the only person who has tickets for them.

Thanks cunno…..did you use the map above as a reference, or do you know if that maps correct or not?

Its so shoody imo, we have to register and join all these varying ticketing agencies to attend games, diff agencys for our grounds, diff for other teams....the IC should be looking at trying to improve this

The venue map I posted is from the proticket website. As for your comment on signing up for these different agencies who sell the tickets.

The only time I ever buy tickets online is for the finals. Other than that, I drive to Campbelltown Wests Leagues club for Tigers home games tickets at Campbelltown and Leichhardt Oval.As for the SFS and others I have to go to Revesby Works Club for tickets.

Ink the seating map I was shown, when I bought the tickets, was far more detailed than the one above, it actually showed individual seats. If a person buys seats in the eastern stand I think they will be safe because there have been no alterations to that stand since it was built therefore the seating plan should still be accurate. I was told that Proticket are now using the correct seating plan for the western stand so those who have bought seats should be OK, I'll find out on Sat night. I believe the gearzone stores have access to the seating plans being used by Proticket as well.

I agree the use of the different agencies can be painful at times.
