Tough choice. I agree with the comment about Tamou being better than Woods. I think Woods would provide better value than Packer but he is the last player we need. We have a fair few worker type props and I think all of them are better than Woods.

He was also the worst captain I have ever seen for the Tigers.

I'm not at all bitter though. It hurt him heaps more than us. He stuffed his career up and although he has done well for himself financially he probably ended up worse off over the longer term financially. He definitely stuffed his legacy up as a player as well.

Didnt start thread to even contemplate bringing Sharon back .... sharon has been past it for some time . I believe we are working towards a solid pack in the near future with how we are managing our cap. Just wanted to know how people thought Sharons story would have been if he stayed and remained our captain. I look at players like blocker, hemsley,lavers,maguire,hardwick and naturally pierce as players i think of as tigers who have tigers dna and will always be thought of in this positive light. I believe what was mentioned in a post that we now consider Sharon as a journey man that can no longer be looked as a tigers stalward

His time at the Dogs was an embarrassment, he’s been given the boot at the Sharks, and as someone else said, he’ll either be out of the league or at his 4th club and seen as a journeyman. Not to mention he hasn’t sniffed rep footy since leaving us. What’s his legacy? Answer: he doesn’t have one. If he had’ve stuck out his career with the Tigers, he would’ve at least endeared himself to us.

Played for Aus after leaving us and played some finals. He may not have been better off staying, we're not exactly kicking goals.
