That try should have been checked. He can say no try if he wants, but it should have been checked.
 
far out, that opening no try decision was so bad Sportsbet is awarding that as a try for all those that picked Nofo as the first try scorer

Exactly….they refer everything else but no......then soft penalty...try and then proceeds t give them the next 4 to piggy back them to 12 nil game over effectively. 55% vs 45% possession....long way back especially after we concede a try bc halatau is playing centres
 
Shame Hayne is not a referees bootlace.

I've seen some really poor performances from referees this year - a couple that spring to mind a Chechin (however you spell it) and Sutton come to mind. None worse than Hayne in the last few years.

Just grab a guy off the street before the game - wouldn't do any worse than that effort.

A..N..D.. don't get me started on how they speak to the Captains. They demand respect and talk back to the players like they dogs. I guess that is ok when the Canterbury are playing - but that is the only exception.

Should be sacked immediately - never to referee again (not even Z grade).

For that matter just grab a Manly supporter to referee the game. The outcome will be the same lol

He did this to the tigers only, any other team and he would have checked it or even better just awarded the try

Even Farah has admitted they are not best of friends, i suspect this incident will only makes things worse next time he refs our game

Hayne's failure to allow a replay of what was indeed a try shows that he clearly has a set against Wests Tigers (and or for that matter, Farah). If Hayne does continue to referee first grade the Referee Director's job is to ensure that Hayne does not referee any Wests Tiger's matches.
