Sheens....THREAD!!!!...OFFICIAL.

Although we may be sitting 5th IMO we are still the same team that got belted by 40 points against Souths.

- The same crappy pack
- The same pathetic defence
- The same useless attack
- The same **** kicking game
- The same elementary crap from Marshall (HE IS SCARED, as much as i hate to say it)
- The same selfish plays from Farah
- The same selections and non-selections from Sheens

Our position if 5th, but if we played finals tomorrow it would be embarrasing. The sooner Sheens goes away the better. Our pack needs a massive overhaul. Our team should look like this:
1\. Mckinnon
2\. Tuiaki
3\. Daniella
4\. Lawrence
5\. Tuqiri
6\. Marshall
7\. Moltzen

8\. Galloway
9\. Farah
10 Fifita
11\. Dwyer
12\. Ellis
13\. Heighno

14\. Fulton
15\. Moors
16\. Murdoch
17\. Import x 2

Flanagan (gone), Gibbs (gone), Payten (gone), Fitzhenery (gone), Brown (gone), Lui (gone)H

Its only natural to ask some questions when we dish up some of the worst sets of six ever seen. Honestly, at times it looks like the players have never met. Is it the coach? Is it a lack of halfback? Is it Benji and Robbie not leading us the way they should? My guess is that its a combo of all 3.

Completely agree that sheens should go (but he won;t, he'll be here for at least another 2 years i think) but you're being far too harsh on Gibbs and Payten.
Gibbs has been one of our best forwards all year and his effort last night was very good. His chargedown effort in the 90th minute should have been enough for us to draw the game. & Payten adds a lot to our pack and is really notable in his absence (last night).
It's also pretty difficult to pick Moltzen, Tui, McKinnon, Moors and Murdoch (who's very probably still too young anyway) when they're injured.

After last nights loss and 4 tough games coming up it is possible we will miss the finals. If thats the case there is a clause in Sheens' contract that if we dont make the finals this year he will not be coaching next year. Who would you like to see coach the tigers beyond 2010?

Gibbs was good last night. He consistently took it forward and his defence is first rate. He is a keeper.

As for your other choices half of them are injured.

I think our pack is good. I think our kicking game is now good. Basically I think that you are way off the mark.

Our issues are:
1\. Fullback - Ryan was a disgrace.
2\. Lote - his commitment was terrible.
3\. Lui - his defence is not there yet however I am prepared to let this slip as it is his first year in the top grade.
4\. A lesser point however Sheens needs to start choosing bigger players off the bench because we have a backrow that plays a lot of minutes.

Continue the study student because it's clear you need to work on several areas. There is nothing wrong with the Tigers forward pack, they made plenty of metres last night. The attitude in defence across the park was sadly missing, it happens to every team at some stage. Farah was anything but selfish last night, he was one of the Tigers best and assuming that Marshall is scared is just ignorant.

Several issues with the players you named:

1\. McKinnon is injured
2\. So is Tuiaki and he won't play this season
3\. See point 2 for Moltzen
4\. Murdoch is also injured and visits a specialist this week to see what's wrong with his shoulder.
5\. Moors is injured

And dropping two of the Tigers best defenders in Gibbs and Payten  You get an F for that.

Stephen Kearney should be given the nod!
Make him an offer…....with the Storm in turmoil he wouldn't mind a fresh challenge!

I can't see Sheens going in a hurry though.

I think the best choice would be Phil Gould. Someone like Brian Smith would be a good 2nd choice.

I am not so sure about Folkes however he would proabaly be better than half the other coaches we could get.

Ricky Stuart would be a nightmare.

Gibbs has gone alright, i just think we need a MAMMOTH overhaul next season. Payten wanted a release a few seasons back. He is getting old and i think we should be trying to snare Blair or Manu or something.

I'm thinking about next year Willow….

This season isn't finished and the Tigers are still in the 8\. Not much point thinking about next year just yet.

What happens if the Tigers come out and beat Penrith next Sunday? Will all of these negative posts still be around?

Whether Sheens stays or goes, there will not be a mammoth overhaul next year. The Tigers don't have the room under the cap and will be promoting the youth within the club. Players like Dwyer, Fifita and Lui will be better players for their experience this year.

Seriously, this has been bashed to death.

We have all put up with years of Sheens' idiotic selections, stubborn pigheadedness and dismal failure year after year. The threads keep re-appearing because we keep making the same mistakes with no consequence from the coach.

We could take the title this year and I still want Sheens gone

mate, we are still getting over last nights spectical, i know there is always next week and that but right now these things need to be brought out. it was not our best game, agreed? in fact it was awful. our last month/six weeks have been equally unimpressive. i like winning but we haven't set the world on fire which, coming into the semis (if we make it!) we need to do. at least start putting away sides convincingly.

as for next week even if we win i still want to see us do it well. the way we are playing at the moment will not help us come september

Sheens wont be going anywhere…If fact when we qualify for the 8 I wouldn't be surprised if he got a 2 year extension....

Wests Tigers board ....it's how they operate....
