Sheens wary of rushing back injured Lui

Gobbs mate…Taumata didn't play last week....like Lui and Lazarus he would be way underdone...

Corby in Farah to half Ryan to fullback Brown to wing Fitzy and Lazzo State cup....wont happen but hey it's only a week to the bye...

I'd rather have Fulton play as pivot if that's the case. Wests don't need anymore tampering with the dynamics of the side by shifting Farah or Marshall. Taumata, Lui, or Fulton. Anyone except Fitzhenry. That was an absolute disgrace seeing him playing at half on Saturday night

To be completely honest, what is all this fuss about playing Lazarus out of position? A little over 12 months ago a large portion of the forum was calling for Lazarus to be picked at fullback (myself included). As much as I hate to admit it (as I am a Lazarus fan) he has been nothing short of ordinary the last two weeks. I don't care what position you play, but fluffed kicks and **lost balls can't be tolerated** if you want to play regular first grade.

I won't be kicking and screaming if he gets another run this week (as a matter of fact, I think he should get one more go) but if he does not produce something better this week I am afraid he may end up state cup for a long time.

im guessing u should probley say this about all our players,Blake is only young whats is Gibbs and Fulton excuses for dropping the ball twice each???

Fatigue apparently….poor bench rotation.......

There are no excuses…but gee there is a massive difference.

Fulton and Gibbs are established first graders. Both have shown plenty to warrant selection, even if they have an off game in my opinion. Same can't said about Lazarus.

It's easy for us fans to lay the blame (every team needs a scapegoat it seems) on players thrown in with the responsibility of controlling a game but it really falls back on the big two in Farah and Marshall. If they don't perform neither does the team. The other half named is merely making up the numbers under the current team structure and game plan.

I don't disagree, but that would be fair to say of most teams I think? If your best two aren't on song you probably won't win.

I think this idea of Farah and Marshall not letting other players dominate isn't right. We saw with Moltzen that Benji is happy to occupy the left attack and Farah pick his times from hooker. I would say that when we have to use backup halves then Benji/Farah probably try too hard and that is where we come unstuck. It seems to be a mental thing - if the pressure is off we play well; but that isn't good enough of professional footballers.
