Sheens

Could we post all Sheens discussions in general rugby league ….personally it makes me ill to see his name in the weststigers part of the forum.Old news and should be treated as such IMO.

He expects players to move on and accept reality, time for Tim to sample some of his own medicine.

Whats good for the goose…

I think the context of Kent's Q has been lost in here. Firstly, Kent talked of how Sheens always supported Benji when the media etc were baying for his blood in times gone by, and how Sheens probably had the right to expect the same in return from Benji and other senior palyers, as Kent also spoke of Sheen's support for Robbie regarding SOO etc. I don't think Sheens was being egotistical in his response, and I get the feeling that he has accepted and moved on, he just answered the Q honestly. Most on here would have done the same…

Mr. Sheens is currently in the UK or not?, I believe there is a club over there that has just sacked their coach after winning only 1 game from 5 and are in the re-building stage and are probably desperate enough to hire him despite him being the Australian coach, after all he's scoping out the UK in his role as 'Roos coach, make him an offer Dr. Koukash and let him stay there, a reverse of 200 years ago, let's send our unwanted to GB.

I agree Slick, I think he was just saying what he felt and nothing more(as we have seen before, players definately DO get coaches sacked if they have a falling out or don't see eye to eye)…it's easy for stuff that is said in the media to be taken out of context IMO.

Benji has always supported Sheens, in fact you could say he supported him above and beyond.

And vice versa that is for sure. Sheens stuck solid with Benji when many people were saying get rid of him after the 3 or so major injuries that Benji had earlier on.

Bottom line is that the club as a whole was stale and dormant last season, someone had to get punted: either Sheens or a majority of the players we have. That was done and it is now over….time for WT to rise out of the ashes and be a force again :sign:

Yeah its tome for Tim to move on. Coming out with these words now is disruptive and it feels like he is holding a grudge.

There were comments in the media last week the club still hasn't come to terms with his payout… If I was owed $1M, I'd be disruptive also!

If we want Sheens to move on, we are best to pay the guy to disappear.

Left Hand = $$$$
Right Hand = "No Comment"

Sheens is history , don't care about the bloke … If Sheens kept to his word like he said "if we don't make the 8 then i will leave " refering to last year . The club paid your wages for 10 years when no other club wanted you and now is still trying to skint us ... yeah i know he had a contract and all the rest .... but that was his word.
Look at the roster he had a couple of years ago and the disharmony he has brought amongst our players .
Don't care about the bloke... Good Riddance to him.

1000000% right
