How did that decision "rob" us the game??

Had it been No Try, we'd STILL have been behind 18-16\. I was at the game, and that decision really revved the team up and they crashed over the line because they were ANGRY. I doubt we would have scored if we weren't as revved up because the momentum at the time wasn't with us.

EVEN THEN, we missed field goals?!?!?! Right in front! The decision was incorrect, but bloody hell, to say it's directly cost us $400k? Bit much for me.

Very very poor form from the club to be playing the "We wuz robbed" card.

If we were robbed once during the game i would have agreed with you but it was twice which pretty much cost us our f/a as well as points, right now we could of been sitting in 7th spot and safe in finals…

Given our F/A I don't think the 6-10 point swing would have offered us much. And we wouldn't have been safe in the finals. What happens if we drop our next two games? Could still well miss out.

We were robbed Friday, but if we don't make the eight this year, ref blunders won't be to blame.

I'm gutted at the refereeing last week but its a bit rich to blame them for us missing the eight.

Round 1 was gifted to us by the ref's and Cronulla could sure do with those extra two points being in a position where they could still miss the 8.

The playing group and most IMPORTANTLY Sheens have to answer for our poor season.

I agree that 2 blatant video ref's errors rob us the game, however, our CEO has to dig deeper and most likely he knows it. It is like claiming that the damage was not done by a tsunami, but by a few drops of rain :slight_smile:

Just a bit of media fluff by Humpty,probably aimed at the punters. Getting all the excuses out their early to soften things a little . Might keep a little heat from the daily double Sheens and Humpty. Lets face it they pocket close to a million between themselves and seem to be accountable to no one. great gig if you can get it

The club can't be that short of cash

We need to start playing by the same rules as every one else , thats one of our problems in my eyes

Stop trying to be the nice guys of the NRL Humphrey's , who gives a toss if we are the most hated NRL side as long as we are winning 75-80% of our games

A lot of clubs use this stuff as part of a siege mentality and it can help fire their seasons up and continually moving

Look at Manly ,Melbourne and Collingwood in the AFL

The CEO should walk down the hallway and knock on the coaches door .Ask why the players showed no urgency earlier in the season and why many were never playing in there positions, while he's at it ask why he will be writing a large cheque to employ another one of the coaches mates! Don't blame last week for not making the finals ask the coach why!.

Rumors are coming out that Wests Tigers arn't as flush with cash as we all assume.

Lets hope some cash from the new TV deal arrives asap.
