Side to side

I luckily was home alone watching yesterday, when Marshall - near the end- ran along the 30m line dummying, dummying, dummying, none of his team mates having a clue what hes doing, Souths just holding their line watching on amusedly….and then he threw it into row C!!!!

I lost it, I thought the neighbours would call the cops...probably sounded liek a murder happening,,,then the migraine hit.

Im so over him

I don't blame Ayshford dropping the ball after that dribble either. Across field….. across field..... nothing on,... passes to Aysh who is completely flatfooted on the sideline, and has four defenders in front of him. I'd probably drop the ball as well.

It has worked before, benjis step step step and through. But if the boys aren't pushing forward and attacking the line how is Benji supposed to make it work?

besides him going sideways all day , i did not see anyone with size get back and runn hard towards the oposition intending to get the ball from him and smash into or go through there defence , sutton did it , why cant we , you would think benji going side ways turns comes back then a forward with some nuts come back accross gets the ball and carrys it forward , cant be that hard

You are correct, it has worked before but doesn't mean people don't learn from it (as one poster pointed out) and set the defence accordinlgy..

Gould made the comment through the telecast… "Benji has made 2000 Meters east west, not north south today".

I cracked up laughing, thought it was one of best ways for Gould to say "What a load of crap"!

If the boys arent standing deep enough to push forward, why does Benji do it??? Its simply a low percentage play that good defensive units dont fall for... Do it once or twice through out a game and you might catch them napping, do it all game, nobody is fooled!
