After last night I wouldn't give any of them a dime , they were horrid bar Fabianski , probably would of been 6-0 if he doesn't play

I think we need to look for more diamonds in the rough in the ESL

The word out of Redfern is that try-scoring ace Alex Johnston is still not happy and wants a release before the start of 2019.

Johnston wants to play fullback but new coach Wayne Bennett is likely to hand that job to skipper Greg Inglis, leaving Johnston out on the wing.

Several clubs are interested in the speedy utility back and Souths are currently considering whether to let him go.

I usually laugh at the barrage of posts critical of good players who become available but in this case I agree Johnston is not who we need. Mbye is developing into a very good fullback. That’s his spot for sure.

I know we don’t want Johnston, but if he is released then Robert Jennings will sign for Souths. He’d be very helpful for us.

The cap penalty means we are done buying for this year I’d say , although would be happy with Johnston or R Jennings.
