Base rate contract plus a few rounds of golf against Uncle Nick, they can fit TPJ under the cap as well as SBW.
 
TPJ will be at the Bunnies 100%, his father pretty much confirmed it when signing a 1 yr deal and the Bennett exit rumours started to swell at this time. Signing TPJ wouldn't leave much room in their cap hence no room for Burgess atm.
I know @Russell will get upset with this but Liddel is over hyped and not cut out for it. Go after Api or Brendan Smith from the storm. Smith was ready to walk when Cam signed for 2 years
 
I don't really see any early season moves we should be making on the off contract list at this stage. There are still a few too many unknowns with our squad. Re-signing Mikaele should be an obvious priority. If Aloiai can show at least a month of consistency under Maguire then he'll become a priority re-signing as well.

Ofahengaue and Koroisau look like they might be the best additions for next year but if we were to go after Koroisau now we'd be shutting the door on Liddle for good…

That could explain the rift between Lockyer and Bennett.
 
Need to re-sign Mikaele asap. Only two games in but the kid has a bright future ahead of him.
 
I like Brandon Smith but to be honest i am not if he is the skillful hooker we need. I would rather get the younger Brailey brother or Koroisau or even Reece Robson who the Dragons have good wraps on. I would love Liddle to kick on but I have my doubts.
 
Even though he's not off-contract, what does everyone think about chasing Nat Butcher? He's a hard working middle forward that ran for 200 plus meters in the first two rounds in reserve grade and isn't going to get much first grade at the roosters with the back row they have which is similar to the situation Matterson found himself in before he signed with us. The roosters might be willing to release him if they want to chase TPJ

I think he's well and truly in the Roosters plans going forward and I can't see them releasing him. If the Roosters need to free up cap space for TPJ they'll probably move JWH on which would free up much more cash than Butcher. When Butcher gets a proper crack at first grade I expect he'll be right up there with Murray and Arrow in quality as a hard working lock with some skill to his game.

"RESERVE GRADE" . 1st grade is a lot tougher but…. yes it's the same as Matto and they might do that to get TPJ
 
They won’t need to Cronk will retire or play on for peanuts. There’s 1m right there. Aubusson will probably move on also.
