I’m not for signing someone just to sign someone. If someone came to improve the roster, great, otherwise promote from within and add those dollars to next time. The amount of dollars we have spare wouldn’t be enough to buy decent of anything.

We should be aiming to sign an aggressive young forward from NSW Cup. Either on a 6 month or 18 month contract. Or longer if it's a top prospect. That's what both our NRL and NSW Cup squads need.

We don't want to tie up cap space and a roster spot with someone who won't contribute but we need to give an opportunity to a forward at a club with an established pack that's looking for an immediate opportunity. There are players like this out there, we just need to convince them to join us.

The bottom line is...till we find a home for some long and expensive contracts we already have on our books we will not be signing anyone.
2020 will not be any different without a clean out. So basically don’t get your hopes up for any big signings in the near future

Totally agree. Lamenting that the Tigers aren't buying when Cowboys and Storm are is like lamenting that you are missing out on bitcoin or the housing market - buy when it's smart, not when you feel pushed.
