Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Does a point come where the club actually takes a look at itself and asks why it can’t hold on to their best juniors? At least with Moses, Tedesco and Woods, they stuck around a few years. Kids now are looking to get out as soon as their first contract is up. Re-signing kids at 18 and 19 should be a lay up. If you are getting told to pound sand by players that age, that’s a red flag. Especially when we supposedly have one of the best administrators in the country at the helm.

Taylan May ( Centre )
Tyrone May ( Lock / back up Half)
Kai Pearce Paul ( 2RF )

Then have a look at some of these front row options;
Sam Tuivaiti ( Prop )
Josiah Pahuli ( Prop )
Davy Moale ( Prop )
Tom Ale ( Prop )
Viliami Fifita ( Prop )
Wiremu Greig ( Prop )
Corey Jensen ( Prop )
Jaiyden Hunt ( Prop )

Some cup players that are on the cusp;
Trey Mooney (Raiders)
Pasami Saulo (Raiders)
Preston Riki (Panthers)
Sione Finau ( Dragons )
Tuku Hau Tapuha (Sharks)

Other then Galvin which other junior is looking to leave? The club actually went on a re-signing spree the last couple of months & locked up a lot of critical juniors.

Did you really type that with a straight face? You realise how long we were told the Galvin stuff was speculation, right? If you don’t think it’s a realistic possibility, you are in denial.
Mate the two situations are completely different. There's been unrest from Galvins camp since before the kid even debuted. Where have we seen anything from TDS to say he's agitating for a release or that he won't stay at the club?

Gotta love revisionist history. Apparently Galvin leaving was always obvious lol.

WTs appear to be doing its best to lock down the best of our talent. Godinex, Tapau-Moors and Haywood all signed. I also read a post that Brookes is also signed to the club long term. The Galvin situation is hardly of the club's making as he is around 18 months from the cessation of his contract.

Our pathways are bad. So many players who are touted as the future end up anything but, and players who do show promise we can’t keep. 😞

I can only assume they rate Haywood more highly than TDS and the timing works better for a transition from Api to Haywood.
If I was the club I would be second guessing how great our pathways players are that came through from that WM 2022 HM side. Da Silva included, has shown promise in first grade but really only Galvin, TDS and to a lesser extent the much younger LL have shown they can grow to be first graders. But due to that great junior run and side, have these boys been pumped up to be a better in expectation then the output.
I guess I’m saying maybe collectively they stood out due to a talented team rather than being talented individuals.
I think Haywood has gotten to his level of reputation on his own doing without having a gun side around him.

Not to the majority on here. Do you know how many times I got shouted down? TDS will go the same way. Family issues or no family issues.
Nothing we've seen from TDS so far suggests that he plans on doing the same thing as Galvin. I've seen people try & judge based on Mays vlogs because him & Galvin aren't that close with the main group but name me another club where the whole roster is a tight knit buddy buddy group.

Think it’s got more to do with being Lachlans ass plug than anything we’ve done.

I hope the 17 changes for Sunday and TDS is back in.

He's been playing well off the bench and now he's dropped.

Although I feel like he didn't see much game time against the storm.
There could be something more to the story, or they might not.

Just hope Tigers come out on top.

Yes but tell that to an 19 year old entitled piece of slimy dog turd.
