Late 80s no, 90s - absolutely yes. Didn't finish better than 10th in the 90s and collected the wooden spoon in 1994. There was one 8th finish (1 place outside finals) but that was 1997, so we were 8th out of 12 clubs AKA 5th last.

god we were woeful in the 90s....remember morvin edwards at fullback??? Chook herron and Brian Smith??? man alive it brings back nightmares

According to who? It would be a good idea Woods is in 500k and took a big pay cut. If you unload Reynolds I’m all for it. Otherwise we should pass on Woods. We need brute force upfront.

Morvin Edwards Is actually a great guy. Worked with him for a little while... He had lots of interesting Penrith stories...

Morvin Edwards Is actually a great guy. Worked with him for a little while... He had lots of interesting Penrith stories...

not saying he isn't a great guy, but not a fullback that you would build your team around

Rumours around that the sharks would be willing to trade one of their bad contracts for one of ours. Dugan, Johnson and Woods. Can't see us getting any of them without also paying half of Reynolds salary. They'll give Johnson more time too but they sure aren't meshing well right now

@balmain-boy I would give Woods another crack back at the Tiges. If anything, moving away from our squad has actually dampened his value. In saying that, I dont mind the look of:
