Do you think Latu couldI prefer May at prop. While he can play lock, it would take away from his best asset which is his ball running and offloading which creates second phase play. If he was to play the lock role he would need to shift his focus from ball running to ball playing.
I think we would be much better served leaving him at prop and getting an out-and-out ball playing lock with good leg speed. Twal definitely is not a lock, but i believe the reason he is there and not May is that Terrell is just too good at prop to move and lose his running and offloading output.
If anyone should go to lock its Sione... He has the quickest play the balls of all our forwards, has really good leg drive, leg speed and footwork at the line. He also has really good hands and ball playing ability. He just needs to work on his fitness so he can punch out 55-60mins.
Play lock. That would keep Mason at 6. Assuming both continue to show elite first grade qualities
