I watched the Under 18 WT development game against the Sharks on Wednesday - we have some big forwards coming through at that age.

Firstly… thanks for your work in the salary cap thread … I think most of the numbers seem pretty close…

One thing no one knows is how much Richo might have managed to front load a few players this year as has been rumoured… hopefully this is the case and there is a bit more space available then we think …

We had the funds to throw a million plus at Galvin … so that leads me to believe there may be some more room than we think …

That's right, hopefully a bit has been frontloaded this season. We can estimate our salary cap position based on approx salaries for each player but the front-loading & how much we are paying players at other clubs (Bateman, Klemmer etc) as I think that still comes out of our cap???

Yes.., good point .. Bateman will still be costing them something next year .. Klemmer should be off the books end of 2025…

Waiting to see what happens with Jordan Miller as well

Our best SG Ball players from this season (who are not already in Flegg or at the schools carnival) played in a development game versus the Raiders on Saturday prior to Flegg. And then our combined U18s played the Sharks on Wednesday. Both games are on Bar TV however there are no team lists and our wonderful club hasn't told members or fans about these games.

He just needs to rectify whatever has limited him this season (fitness, injury, attitude, whatever it is) and come back as the Royce Hunt we want, need & are paying for.

seems like Benji & Richo aren’t interested in the older experienced demographic, i look at their recruitment they want young, fast players

Why can't we produce or find big bulky forwards like east's came up with last game .We are supposed to run the Southwest eg Cambletown area isn't that where they mostly live ?

Was at pcyc at Minto they built a world class boxing gym there and all I saw where giant teenagers everywhere, I seriously struggle to accept that we are doing enough in the scouting of young players in that area. It was seriously land of the giants

Tino one of my favourite players I just can't see him signing for us. He would be a top target for a lot of clubs and would demand massive $$$. But It would be a game changer if he did. Him and May would be insane in the same pack

I like Luai I think he's been a good signing without setting the world on fire but at he's dollars he's not going anywhere..

I guess the move from Canberra to Newcastle is easier than Canberra to Sydney. Can’t think of any other explanation. I would have thought the Chooks or maybe Manly would have been in the mix, and of course Gus is interested in anyone with boots on

We should be a more attractive option than the knights .
Campbelltown is closer to Canberra than Newcastle. Easier relocation or even still base in Canberra for family

That Manly game proved to me how much we need Luai on the field. Without him we are a rabble. If he played against Roosters I’m confident we win far easier.
