I agree and will always back the call. Benji never wanted to leave was forced money or not. He should have been looked after and never been made to feel like an outsider. People in control of the whole Benji and robbie saga should be called out and hung. The big 4 hurt at the time. The only one i reget is Teddy.Moses can go f--k himself coz im sure he looks in a mirror every niight. Woods, couda wouda been something but hey. Brooks had his mates hang him. Sloan gets a rough deal at the Dragons. He's not a Flanagan style of player. Raw pace is an outstanding commodity and I'm sure our coaching team teach him defence.

Can get over the line. After today i'm liking our defence. Been liking it for awhile now. So yes we maybe able to teach him. Nofa kills me. Never taught.

I'd pick Skelton every time on that basis. He might be able to do a job for a team at fullback, but even then, he needs to work on his size and strength.

Like i said i wouldn't ask to sign him but he does convert.

The week before he ran for 130m on 11 carries and had like 19 tackles with none missed. It was a bad game though. Right now the problem with him is there is a massive gap between his best and worse. At his best he looks like a white Taumalolo clone. At his worst he plods around like a deer in headlights.

I'd probably prefer Zyon Maiu'u from the Bulldogs if looking for a potential guy.

Agree he’s a solid player. Some years ago I believe he carved us up in KOE playing for the Eels. Couldn’t crack the Eels or Warriors teams which is a red flag and has been around for years now.

Ness never left the warriors. Still only young, was their next big thing a few years ago. Young player of the year etc

Of course it works both ways and there is no anxiety, but if you want a successful rugby league club to focus on keeping your very best talents in each age group.
I don’t watch every minute of every game in the lower grades, so there are some who are better placed on rating our emerging talent than what I , but from the games I have watched I believe Goodfield was our player with the most potential in the outside backs from our Wests Magpies Harold Matthews team.
Losing him is not the end of the world as nobody is irreplaceable, but it would have been better if we had kept him.

Lanyon certainly has a much much higher ceiling than Goodfield, who was solid but unspectacular. Probably the 3-4th best back from the matts team. He'll have more competition at Panthers too so no guarantee to stay

We lack pace in the backline. Skelton should have gone down the right hand touch line to score on that overlap but was too slow. Sloane would have done far better. Certainly, he would have made the try Skelton scored look easier because he would have arrived at the try line sooner. Genuine pace also improves defence as we've seen with JAC, and half opportunities become genuine try scoring chances. I understand $ might be a consideration but our club has a history of undervaluing players with raw pace with JAC, Papenhuyzen and Koroibete the best examples. As for physicality, we get better value out of Turuva than Skelton.

Manly may have the fastest backline in the NRL. Hasn't done them much good.
