Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

As a right edge back rower there is noubt KPP is an upgrade.
However we need him to be a genuine line breaking and try scoring threat. He has shown he is capable of this in the past, but he’s become very half paced and predictable in recent times, let’s hope that was just a result of him going through the motions and he will run the ball with much more speed and purpose now he’s with us for the next few seasons.
You can't judge his performances in a pathetic side V where the whole team not just him on his own limped to the end of the season to pick up a well-deserved spoon.

We are all hoping when he throws on a jersey for us, we get to see the potential he can provide.

Just did a basic Jersey Flegg season review in this thread for those interested in pathways. Will do the same for NSW Cup in the next week or so.

What's your connection with the juniors mate? PM if you dont want it public.. Just good to know who the reliable sources are around here 😁

When does the other May come off contract in super league? Maybe they are trying to all get together as a package deal for someone? I don’t think Terrell will leave, think he really enjoys the club and where we are going. Could be many reasons why he knocked back the 3 years. As for Nelson, didn’t we try and sign our “wrecking ball” last year in hunt?! I don’t know about Nelson now, think he may be passed it. Feel like there is so much going on in the background…Richo is surely amongst it all. 🙏🙏🙏

Let’s hope so

I don't think we lose Taylan to another side in the NRL (with the exception of Penrith) .. the risk is rugby union...

Terrell won't go anywhere as long as we don't fk him over.. He's already said he wants to be a tiger for life...
Taylan tried to sue the panthers

No way will they ever take him back

Just an avid fan who knows a thing or two about the sport.

Since Bar TV has come online this season covering every pathways game, I don't think I have missed watching one game of our clubs in Harold Matts, SG Ball, Flegg & NSW Cup this season so have a fair handle of how each player has performed & progressed.

Somehow I manage family & work as well lol

Risky move by Taylan when he has a chequered past and we have a gun left centre coming through.

Richo has already shown he won’t hesitate in letting good players go if they don’t want to be here.

I doubt that..
Terrell has asked to sign to the tigers for life..
Tyrone is as good as done, he won't/shouldn't play NRL again...
Taylan is the risk of leaving
Yep as @Demps mentioned, all brothers would then come off contract after the 2027 season and have a dream to play together one day. Plus the other factor in this is Benji, who both Terrell & Taylan speak so highly of. If there is no Benji by the end of '27, it gives them leeway to see who any new coach is.

My wife is extremely happy there are no more tigers games so I can relate haha

Ok I will bite! Taylan has to my knowledge no history in Rugby Union. From an outside centre perspective he prefers to take the man on the outside shoulder. That is a very large no in Rugby as it totally isolates the support players and makes it far easier for the opposition to turnover possession. It would take a significant time to overcome this tendency. In addition he will have no on ground skills and tackling is another issue. I cannot see a rugby club being interested as it would take a number of years to reach the standard.

I should add that this does not mean Taylan is not a good footballer but the age demographic, time involved does not make it an attractive proposition for a coach or club.

Interesting one there with Taylan, hope it's sorted with us and him soon. Don't want it dragging
on too long. Dare say the manager is playing his part in this.

Say Taylan signs, how many spots do we have left in our top 30?
