A Props prime finishes by 28 these days. 23-28 are their best years usually, then the speed of game and physical nature often starts to wear on them. Not many players find their best form as they approach 30. He'll be 28 next season,some are talking about him like he's 23.
This is his last big contract, so it's understandable he wants to cash in. Highest bidder may well win the race.

He's off contract for 2027, can talk to clubs now. I'd offer him 1.5 mil over 3 years but yes likely to join PNG you'd think. They'd want to have him as their star local boy

It’s funny, plenty on here are excited by Ethan Roberts even though he had a poor year this year and went from the verge of NRL to finishing the year in Flegg.

Yet Saukuru made some huge strides last year after moving to second row. One of our best in Flegg after the move and has improved every single game since.

I wouldn’t be shocked if Saukuru continued his rise and jumped both Roberts and Geyer at some point next year.

Why would you have a upset player taking a great wage to play below himself because he's unhappy better to have players who want to be there then have some like Mitch Moses not giving a toss waiting to get out
