why buy into a Central coast soccer team. Not very community mindedTigers are well funded by HBG. I’m not a supporter of them but it’s the truth. They out in significant money to the club and it’s pathways.

They don't sponsor anything. They're majority owners. But yes they could certainly Chip in an extra $5-10 million a year, and forget about a football club in Gosford. All they need to do ,is shut up and increase sponsorship
1 more soccer than Pascoe - bell endsThey don't sponsor anything. They're majority owners. But yes they could certainly Chip in an extra $5-10 million a year, and forget about a football club in Gosford.
They'll acree the Mariner's over even moreso than us.
They have too many fingers in too many pies, We deserve owners that only have our club as their priority, all the focus on the Tigers. They don't sponsor anything. They're majority owners. Have they increased the amount from previous years? Previous years it was documented that the funding was $1.7m for the senior football program. In comparison the Dogs spent $4m on pathways (that includes academy funding in Qld, North Coast & Fiji). We did travel early to Nz the entire senior squads in which the club would’ve had to pay due to staying longer than the Nrl allow in their budget. Maybe they have increased the funding. Sometimes in life when you make mistakes you have to pay the consequences. So when they decided to demolish the footy board in December they now need to pay for their actions.Tigers are well funded by HBG. I’m not a supporter of them but it’s the truth. I don’t think adheres to the intent of their own debenture systemwhy buy into a Central coast soccer team. Not very community minded
While it is significant it is significantly less that all other clubs yet they want to invest in a different sporting organisation, outside of the region, when they can't deliver on the one they already own.Tigers are well funded by HBG. It is an interesting move and does go against their constitution. The reality is they are under the microscope because they "own" Wests Tigers NRL club. Nobody would care about their dysfunctional shenanigans if they just ran pokie dens and a soccer team...in fact its probably applauded and encouraged. I wonder if there is a view that getting rid of the high profile NRL club might take the attention away and this move is the start of a shift in that direction. While it is significant it is significantly less that all other clubs yet they want to invest in a different sporting organisation, outside of the region, when they can't deliver on the one they already own.
The consititution is very clear on the benficiaries of organistion - Western Suburbs Rugby League and the club commnities. I can see how puchasing another pokies den could expand the club's business portfolio - but the location has nothingto do with the community or rugby league. In fact is is investing in an organsition that is competing for the lifeblood of the sport - our kids.
If people didn't go feral, we could leave it open all the time.Honestly don’t mind the idea of opening a HBG thread for a week a month 😂
It’s always gonna be a divided topic, personally idk much about it and just enjoy when the team does well. Bit shallow of me ik and I get how critical HBG are to the success of the club but I just like seeing the 2 points every weekIf people didn't go feral, we could leave it open all the time.
Sorry TYGA i have to agree in one respect and dissagree in another. I agree in terms of the ammount of money being given every year is a large ammount. But totally disagree we are well funded for ourselves let alone compared to other teams. We are one of if not the poorest. This is my point, HBG have the revenue to make Wests Tigers a powerhouse, yet the funding model is one of sustainability. They give us just enough to keep us going. This is what i got from a quick google a.i skim.Tigers are well funded by HBG. I’m not a supporter of them but it’s the truth. They out in significant money to the club and it’s pathways.
Not as much as the Wests Tigers would like to have invested.Tigers are well funded by HBG. I’m not a supporter of them but it’s the truth. They out in significant money to the club and it’s pathways.
What? We are very underfunded. Have to be the lowest in the comp. We spend on our two junior pathway bases what other clubs spend on their one base.Tigers are well funded by HBG. I’m not a supporter of them but it’s the truth. They out in significant money to the club and it’s pathways.
It would take all this shit off this threadHonestly don’t mind the idea of opening a HBG thread for a week a month 😂
Not sure but they’re trying to re-sign him and Ashton on big deals. Interesting to see if he stays.Mmmm with all this Joey Walsh stuff at Manly being the next big thing, where does this leave Onitoni Large? Any word?
