Lomax has been switched between wing, fullback and centre in his appearances in the NRL. He needs a coach who will allow him to settle in one position and develop an understanding with the players around him. He has the ability to break the line.

@Russell Jennings has been quite poor. I haven't seen Lomax play enough to make judgement but I will take your word for it.

I can. He has a contract and they are holding him to it. Any club can do it when someone under contract starts whinging about mental health issues, coaching their son, or not liking their current role.

Making an example of one person sends a message to others under contract that may be looking elsewhere, much the same as releasing the first whinging player makes others realise that they are free to look around.

I can. He has a contract and they are holding him to it. Any club can do it when someone under contract starts whinging about mental health issues, coaching their son, or not liking their current role.

Making an example of one person sends a message to others under contract that may be looking elsewhere, much the same as releasing the first whinging player makes others realise that they are free to look around.

Well as long as they don't complain when they're not competitive in signing the best players to development contracts in the future. There's a place to draw the line with contracts and I don't think this is it - short-sighted of them.
