Tigers actively looking for a top line centre as a point of need now (that’s from with-in the organisation) Content with forward pack.

Don't believe you. Most of your other supposed inside info hasn't eventuated.

Momo was a revelation at centre last year, and if you can believe Benji, Talau is the most exciting player at the club. Mbye is also strong at centre, so why do we need a centre as a priority?

Again have it all in written form. Can post pics if mods allow it

I can't believe you're still here.

Should we go through it?

1. LM will be at Tigers training come 6th Jan (think you claimed JAC too)
2. LM will not be at Souths
3. Souths can't fit LM in without offloading one/both of Gagai and AJ

Just the recent ones I remember.

All his posts remind me of my sister in law. Don't believe a word she says but every now and then you get caught and kick yourself in hindsight

In his defence it was later reported the Latrell had agreed to come to the Tigers but ended up getting talked out of it (by his 'advisors' letting him flush hundreds of thousands of dollars down the toilet).
Regards Souths fitting him in?
Plenty of smoke and mirrors going on there ... I still think they'll shed a few players.
Makes you wonder why blokes want to play under Bennett... all the horsecrap about being a 'players coach' and 'caring about their welfare' - as he punts them.

It happens. Tigers thought they had him. The SB medical retirement changed things though tigers still thought they were favs to land him

I think Bennett has actually lost it . It’s also not an uncommon theory in League circles.

Interesting to see what happens if their (Souths) 2020 replicates the previous season... it’s all feeling very Newcastle circa ‘13/14

Wayne is trying to buy a premiership. It’s day has past him. Still a Good coach. But he needs elite talent to be successful these days. If brad Arthur or say a flanagan had the Souths roster they would be a lot better served

Ahh that’s just sour grapes. Every team needs elite talent to be successful.

Sure I think Bennett’s coaching is old school, but for a guy that’s “lost it”, he just lured the most promising up and coming forward and the best centre in the game.
Wish our coach/management would lose it like that!!

Think you will fing rusty had more to with that in regards to Arrow(his partner a model) and LM s family support souffs

Noticed a reference to our offer being "snubbed" by Mitchell. Certainly true we made him an offer but having received zero response, that offer had been pulled (ie no longer existed) at the time he signed his low rent deal with the dead rabbit floggers.

Can someone please post this article behind the paywall. Cheers in advance.

Wests Tigers remain hopeful that teenage prop Stefano Utoikamanu will gain a release from Parramatta to join the club this season.

The Tigers have signed Utoikamanu on a three-year deal from 2021, but they want to secure his services for 2020.

Parramatta knocked back their release request in November, opting to offer the Australian schoolboys and NSW under-20s star a top-30 NRL position for this season.

The Eels feel the 19-year-old, who has been compared to Brisbane and NSW enforcer Payne Haas, will enhance their chances of success.

Despite the Eels’ stance, it’s understood that Utoikamanu wants to leave and he doesn’t want to make his NRL debut for Parramatta.

The Tigers will continue to negotiate with Eels officials in the hope they can obtain a release, which they believe is in the rising talent’s best interests.

The joint-venture club has the cap space for Utoikamanu, plus opportunities in the front-row for the former Westfield Sports High student to thrive.

The Tigers desperately want an enforcer following the retirement of former New Zealand international Ben Matulino.

Utoikamanu is the perfect fit having starred on the junior representative stage over several seasons.

He excelled during the NSW under-20s win over Queensland last year with almost 150 metres and 11 hit-ups while he scored the matchwinning try and collected the man-of-the-match honours for the Blues under-18s in 2018.

Utoikamanu has been a standout at Parramatta pre-season training.

He has a huge fitness base for a big man while he is incredibly strong weighing in at 115kg.

Utoikamanu appears ready for the step up after impressing in the Canterbury Cup ranks with Wentworthville last season.

He played 17 games for the Magpies, scoring two tries and running for 1602 metres and 604.8 post-contact metres.

Tigers officials are excited about the potential of Utoikamanu teaming up with a player like Zane Musgrove in the front-row.

Musgrove has been a standout at Tigers training this summer after having his contract conditionally approved by the NRL.

The former South Sydney forward has spent 12 months on the sideline following legal charges from an incident on the dance floor of the Coogee Bay Hotel.

However, after having two of the three charges – including aggravated indecent assault and common assault – dropped last in October, the NRL has given the green light for Musgrove to join the Tigers’ squad for pre-season training.

I was thinking the same - Bennett's contract finishes 2021- they don't appear to have the forwards to win the comp this year. And come 2021 if he has to punt guys who don't want go i can see a very disgruntled team. I'm hoping he leaves them in tatters like he did with newcastle.

It’s good to hear musgrave is training well but would love to hear a direct quote and not just that he’s training well. The whole stefano article tells us nothing new. Any rugby league fan could of written that.

Aloiai, Mikaele, Musgrove, Luciano, Stefano that’s some size right there add Twal, ET & MCK in there and it’s quite balanced.

Better than last year. Especially if Packer's fit again and buddies with Madge again as rumoured.
