We wont even be talking about Corey Thompson in 2 years.
He'll be another Mitch Brown who simply did a job for us because we didnt have the star player to lock a position down.
We dont love him, we don't hate him. He was merely a gap filler until we could get some one better.

Adam Douhei could be our fullback or #6 making the switch like Lockyer did for the next 7+ years.

This is clear as day.

Talau is our 5/8 and has a higher ceiling that AD.

Sweet then AD can just stay fullback. Easy.

Sweet. If that’s the case, he can take a pay cut or reduced years to prove he’s the man.

He didn’t even make a 64 man emerging blues squad. Not worth 2m+ over 4 years

Why would he take a pay cut to join us when he can go somewhere else.

Yeah no teams rate liicha
Doubt teams would be lining up to sign mbye or Reynolds as their hooker also
He would solve a huge issue in our team
Pretty sure he was a junior kangaroo so he knows how to play
I can’t recall him being bad.

No one else wanted Lawrence either but that didn’t stop us.

Brain dead is correct. Bloody stupid. He would have made a massive difference but we’re going to be also rans again.

You can't be serious. He would not have made a ""massive"" difference. Did you check out the head to head stats that CB posted on (I think) page P2611 re CT and AD ?

At best AD is a minor upgrade on CT at full back. AD adds a ball playing option and a kicking option. CT is a superior ball runner and defender (based on tackles missed).

If AD wants $600k next year and a four year deal, then I can understand why we have walked away.

I am serious. Let’s see how you feel later in the season when he’s playing great footy for another club and we’re in our usual spot outside the 8.

So many people on here underestimate how good the kid is.

Playing great footy in CC for Souths. A player who isn’t going to get a start in first grade at his current club isn’t worth 500k.

Are you talking about Addo-Carr

Looks like AD may be going to Melbourne according to the Rabbitohs Furom on LL.

Lucky we don’t have a goose like Bellamy in charge. He clearly doesn’t know talent

If madge didn’t sign him he would of been made to look like the worst guy ever
Didn’t help when his sister was on TV airing her grievances

Oh gee Madge why can't you recruit as effectively as Russell Freaking Crowe?

Who is Madge rubbing shoulders with? Pascoe and the lady who sends out the Roar Store orders.

Does Madge invite potential signings up to his bustling rural property at Nana Glenfield, serve up a michelin star meal (michelin being the brand of tyres used by the uber eats driver), get a few brown paper bags organised by the lesser-known nephew of Kerry, Russell Packer.

???

Is that your argument? I don't know how old you are,, but okay....

Madge sets the price....the price is not the same as the market ....thus he has a long history of missing out.

Cleary....polar opposite.....paid massive overs.

We need middle ground.

The whole thing he wrote. Same poster as last night. This was earlier in the day... SMH has just reported he isn't at the camp. So, he might know something, he might not.

Douehi is not in training camp with the boys on the South Coast. Apparently he has been given leave to think about his future. I'm hearing that the storm and rorters are a possibility along with the tigers if course. If he goes to storm we will get JAC no risk. More twists and turns in the next couple of weeks

We have to applaud Madge. Souths want AD off their books. He simply isn’t going to play first grade. All clubs would expect them to at least contribute 100k for each year or they can have a 600k reserve grader

He wont play reggies, he will be their 14 and an excellent one.

I am a big Madge fan, but recruitment is his weakness.

Crowe and Richo recruited South stars.

Madge not budging so far has got us what? The weakest 1-5 in the comp. Not a single back added to last year's weak backline that lacked pace and strike, Fonua and Esan gone, Benji at 35 expected to play every week. No pace, no strike, no first string kicker.

Madge's rhetoric sounds nice, but reality is different.

Crowe and Richo signed Sam Burgess and Greg Inglis, Madge coached a backline of juniors in Reynolds, Keary, Johnston, Gray, Av’au, etc. Players no-one had heard of before Madge got hold of them. How can you say recruitment is his weakness? Looking at his team at Souths, I’d say it’s his strength. He didn’t pay overs for any of those premiership winners.

Take Inglis and the Burgii out of that team and they win nothing.

how good would AD to storm and JAC to tigers happy days with that if true

If AD goes to the storm.
JAC will go straight to souths.

Nothing good happens for us there.

The chances of that happening are 48 trillion to 1.

Can I have 10 cents on that

Same could be said for Reynolds, Keary etc
