Bookmakers odds reflect the weight of punters money (minus the bookies percentage) so it is always a popular judgment of what people think of our or anybody elses chances.This year i believe our odds are poor value but i feel you will get better odds later in the season.At the half way mark will be when i have a punt for the 8 or better

Interesting with Bulldog Ritchie on bsb he said he heard suggestions Douehi happy with tigers and a 4 year deal however roosters were his likely first choice however they only offered 2 years his parents pushed him to take the 4 year stability at tigers.

Ritchie is beyond useless. It really is depressing how many extremely poor quality "journalists" there are that cover league.

The sport would be much better off with only a handful of journos promoting it well, rather than the number of morons constantly belittling the league, its players and fans.

On Doueihi, of course the roosters are always an attractive option. Who wouldn't want unlimited money and benefits and the chance to win a premiership every year!

However a 2 year deal, on 800k where he plays out of position at centre in the first year and then may not play at all in the second year. Versus 4 years at 1.7 million, and an excellent chance to play one of his two preferred positions.

Surely the fairest way to resolve this would be making him play for the WT's for 4 seasons at the league minimum
