The only issue is probably the fact he is getting over an ACL.He is a highly rated young player

I think that the Penrith management had more to do with it than Cleary. I believe that he was promised a top 30 spot with Wests Tigers.

Correct those scumbags don’t care. Penrith were filthy they lost the kid and still let him play. Eels are filthy and refuse to release him the sooks.

It’s not like he held a gun to the club’s head. If this guy turns out a dud, it’s on our club.

He has fallen behind at the Panthers due to injury. WTs provides him with the chance to come into the NRL earlier than at the Panthers, under a very good coach who happens to be the NZ Coach and be amongst some of the best young talent in the NRL (Grant, Twal Musgrove etc). I think he may be eligible for NZ and with young Stefano and Kei are really outstanding talents. His signing makes up for missing out on the Manly forward'

The panthers reportedly offered him 400k a year for the next few years. They certainly weren't keen to lose him.
Don't know how much we offered, hopefully not that much. Seemingly he didn't see eye to eye with Ivan. Has a better opportunity with us too. Very little competition at lock

Tamou was a good player even before Ivan got his filthy, lying mitts on him. He is better than dregs.

I know people are wary about signing older players with the luck we’ve had in the past, but I think Jesse Bromwich would be a good signing. We will desperately lack experienced forwards for next year and he’s still one of the best around. Off contract and we could get him for a decent price

Yeah maybe. Offers experience in the pack, Storm may be willing to let him go and retain him, a pretty good idea I think.

Jesse would be great for our pack. I think he's looking a bit stale at the storm and a change could give him a 2nd wind. How much $$ he is after is the only question I have.
