Brenko Lee starting at centre for Melbourne instead of Seve. Momirovski looks to be third choice at Melbourne ? hopefully he can train hard enough to start playing later in the season

It appears Momo is the big loser in this swap deal. We come out ok because we have a pretty handy DH for the season. Grant comes out ok because he gets NRL experience and a chance to show how good he is. Melbourne come out ok as they get to see how good the heir apparent to Cammy is and he gets some NRL experience before going back south. Momirovski gets to sit on the sideline and gets no match fitness whatsoever.

Hopefully he can get a run sooner rather than later. A lot of people were worried thinking we would get the short end of the stick with this deal but it’s pretty clear we’ve come off better

Melbourne have come out of it ok. I'm not sure they were all that worried about whether Momo would get a run with them. I think they were more interested in getting Grant some NRL experience and seeing how he handles the week to week of top grade.

When Brenko Lee jumps you in the queue you should be worried... having said that he was pretty good last night proving again Bellyache can polish a turd

He's just a back up player and thats all he should be for us aswell. He wouldnt be in front of Mbye or Joey and hes not a winger. If he got another 2 years with us then I reckon he did ok.

They got some depth and Grant was kept happy. We get a classy hooker and Momirovski can learn off Bellamy to hopefully come back better. Good deal for everyone end of the day

You'd have him in our starting side Russell? I dont see a spot for him.

Mbye on the bench in my side, because imo (it is only mine) he is a better centre.

Fair enough. Mbye's a bit of a loose end, not sure what his best spot is.

He didn't polish the Sam Kasiano turd too brightly, that bloke regressed under Bellamy like you wouldn't believe.

People really want Anthony Don.... he can’t even make first grade at the titans. He’s 32, we wouldn’t get rid of Thompson for someone who’s older and probably not as good.

I wouldn't be paying much money for Don but if the Titans were happy to throw him in as part of the Corey deal then I would gladly take him and give him Jennings" spot. Didn't realise Don was 32 though, thought he was a bit younger. He is more of a tryscorer than Jennings IMO, Jennings 1 good year in 2018 bloated his tryscoring stats but apart from that he's light-on for getting over the stripe.

The only way we keep.Grant is to win and make a good showing in the semis.

He has the option to play for one of the best teams under the best coach.

Suppose we do. Melbourne still need to realease him, which they won’t If Smith retires.

He’s slow, not mobile and old. Good in the air but that’s about all he offers nowadays. Madge would have a much better replacement lined up, Thompson for don is a backwards step.

Yeah top 30 spots are valuable at the moment, I wouldn’t burn one on the Don. Use it to get an up and comer who will suit the new rules (like Blore).

Yeah for sure and Madge seemingly thinks the same. All he’s signed is young talent for us really besides a few guys. Jason Saab will be looked at very closely

Josh, I can tell you my parents were walking past the training ground immediately to the south of the Illawarra Stadium yesterday and they watched this extremely tall and fast winger train. They were very impressed prior to knowing the WT's may be interested in him.
