You'd hope the club keeps him around because I think he still offers more than Madden and Walters plus would be an amazing mentor to have around. And... we've extended his career when no one else wanted to. As it is I don't fully understand why we've let CT go to the Titans since we don't have much depth in the backs.

I have to agree with you Russ on this one...I don't care about swapping players.would rather let contracts run out and recruit well.....however the club needs to find away of buying Grant,although it was a first in the NRL as far as loan deals go,we are now giving Harry NRL experience and coaching expertise that he wouldn't have got back at Storm this year...
He will become a superstar in the future the way he is going,and that's thanks to the WTs developing him and he is giving us 100 percent in a position we were lacking,but if Storm take him back we will lose him not just as a player but an incredible young man...

The Tigers have always been known for having stronger coaching and development than the Storm system. Grant was hopeless before Madge.

The more we WIN games in a row will directly impact the amount of money we need to pay players with talent and the attitude we need to see our Tigers as the place to play as opposed to place to get paid.

Players like Harry, Teddy etc will want to stay.

Harry's effort brings the team up a notch in my opinion.

He's quite inspirational for a kid his age and he NEVER shirks it.

We need to explore every avenue to keep this kid at the Tigers because he needs to be our next franchise player and epitomise what the Tigers stand for.


He certainly seems to love being here, he has a smile on his face as big as a split watermelon in all the pictures I see of him training with the guys. No doubt enjoying his time actually playing and showcasing his skills in the NRL instead of languishing in reserves.

However the Storm have already re-signed him, he is theirs as soon as Smith retires. It was good of them to loan Grant to us and give him a chance to play in the top grade, but I don’t think it would be right for us to try and take him from the Storm permanently when he has already agreed to play there. We’d be spewing if the situation was reversed.

From what I have read on here - Brandon Smith is promised the DH role when Camey Baby retires - Where does that leave Brandon and Harry?????

Mistake no1, believing anything written or said about Rugby league. I don’t see Bellyache make any promises to any player, he not that sort of bloke. He is going to pick the best player for the job

You'd hope the club keeps him around because I think he still offers more than Madden and Walters plus would be an amazing mentor to have around. And... we've extended his career when no one else wanted to. As it is I don't fully understand why we've let CT go to the Titans since we don't have much depth in the backs.
