I’d hope Simpkin would jump Walters and start getting named on the extended bench.

Most likely will be right in the frame for 2021.

I have no doubt Simpkin will play first grade for a decade or more. Just hope it’s with the Tigers!

Watched the Titan v Sharks game and am glad we did not get Jai Arrow as he is no where near the $800k he was asking for, whilst he played limited minutes was not a standout.

Hard to stand out in a flogging but did not bend the Line in attack and defence was poor

I'd rather take the Tigers to Syria than sign that dope Arrow. Lol

If moving Doueihi to 5/8 is a better option for the team and so a fullback is required. Off contract at the end of 2020 are Luke Metcalf & Nicho Hynes or off contract at the end of 2021 are Tex Hoy and Jesse Arthars.

Put the 4 of them together and they are not as good as Doueihi.

Doueihi is a fullback or centre. He doesn't have the ball-playing for five-eighth. He struggles quite a bit in isolating the man in front of him and getting his outside man the ball. His cut-out passes are ok, but so, so often the ball dies with him in our backline movements. He reminds me of Josh Dugan a lot, just a little better with the ball in hand.

Apart from his height - he is nothing like Josh Dugan imo.

Clubs been a tight shop recently

No rumours or leaks

Or everyone is offering their fringe players to the warriors for experience

Lower body injuries piling up across the league this year. Depth is being tested especially in the outside backs. Probs why there’s not much movement between clubs.
Is it just me or am I seeing a lot of damage being done by 3rd man in tacklers going for the legs. Thought the NRL issued a notice they were clamping down on that a couple years ago. Seem to be letting it slide now

Especially when they make a tackle and roll into the players leg at the same time. Have a look back and see how we lost Twal to a knee injury. Was nothing to do with the turf. It was dirty Mguire tackling low then rolling his whole weight over his legs.
The whole tactic should be outlawed.

We probably have to move on a replacement for Corey Thompson sooner rather than later.
Mbye is struggling with a knee injury, BJ is getting suspended so we are short. I like Hoffman and Cini however they haven’t played a game yet. Brad Abbey could be a backup but I’m not sure if he’s still injured.

Could everyone be awaiting the outcome of a certain agents court appeal? There’s a lot of talent in a holding pattern.

The more I think about it, the more I think Johnston would be a good fit on our left wing. Would definitely rather get JAC, but apart from him I don't see a better left winger available. Saab is only ever played on the right for some reason, and he's struggling there so not sure he's the answer in the short term.

Fidow from the cowboys would be great, but I think he's locked up.

can we take Euan Aitkin now prior to the dealine and put him in at centre

What is your obsession with Eaun Aitken? You talk about him insensately!

He's not even good enough to get picked in the dragons team let alone ours. Even Lafai gets picked over him (when fit)!

Madge was looking at him at start of year and i believe still looking for next year with bJ suspended he might be a good option for us. i know some people at saints and he still doesnt have a deal moving forward for next year. Only going by what i heard at the start of the year not my most favoured player but he is on our radar.

There is a reason he does not have a deal moving forward - he cannot defend.

Not sure where you got your info from but never heard his name came up from inside the club.

Go and watch the hole video of him talking to ref gives you a hole different look at it I really don’t get all the hate towards Cameron Smith I’m gonna be sad when I no longer get to watch him play week to week the blokes unbelievable

People will try and tell you he argued with the ref while McKinnon was on the ground. He actually stood back for the whole 10 or so minutes it took to get Alex off the field. Then he approached the ref. And he raised the fact there were several tackles earlier in the game that were not penalised. The McKinnon tackle by comparison was pretty innocuous.

So he stood back for the whole 10 minutes, waited until McKinnon got put in a neck brace, stabilised and medicabbed off (McKinnon was saying aloud that he could not feel his legs).....and then he confronted the referee to have a whinge? What a lowlife thing to do.
It was pretty apparent by the time McKinnon was taken off the field that he was in a very bad way.
