I sound like a broken record but the missing piece is a controlling half

If we don’t improve our halves we will get no where. We’ve got the forward pack to play tough and hang in games but we need halves who can properly lead us around, Benji and brooks aren’t those players.

Great looking team but we need better than Doueihi at full back and better than Reynolds at 5/8.

Kepaoa is wasted on the wing. Move him into the centres to replace Leilua.

Its extensions i want to see. Our recruitment of youth is coming along nicely. One swallow doesn't make a summer, but we need to keep a very close eye on Blore after that debut. The last thing we need is other teams getting under our guard. Talau and Mac are both genuine first graders and need to be kept long term. Club should be going hard for Matt Burton.

Pretty impressive pack and bench when they are all playing at their potential.

It would be good to hang on to Eisenhuth, Big Mac and Clark too I think. Need balance and cover for injuries and these guys will all step up and play a role.

Im gonna say that we wont have Packer or Reynolds next season .. I reckon they wont be with us anymore.

We need a better fullback .. Doueihi has been kind of safe .. but he aint a fullback .. was found wanting last night .. out of position, his defence is subject, very poor attempt to tackle RCG when he went on to score .. maybe in the centres for him .. ?? Isn't Kepaoa a fullback/centre/winger .. ?? need someone with more speed at the back and someone who can read the attack and defend better .. !!

His attempt to tackle RCG wasn't as bad as Josh A's non attempt - that is where the gap was.

Douehi has been playing injured for weeks but fit he is our fullback for mine. We obviously need to find a way to keep Harry but our halves are the biggest concern. I think we obviously need one more year out of Benji and prob Brooks his partner but we need to find a replacement but lucikly with Reynolds and Packer off contract the end of 2021 we can go to market for a top class half to replace Benji. In saying that we will have to upgrade a lot of the young guys too so packers money prob just gets dispersed amongst the younger players

I wonder what Madge’s plan recruitment wise will be now. Looks like our forward pack is just about complete for next season, maybe need a second rower and hopefully we keep McIntyre/Eiso.

We have depth in our back line but I don’t know if you can keep Mbye there, maybe sign a quality winger and shift Talau to centre?

He was but he seems a bit big for a half. I think
He’ll be much better suited at wing or centre

I'm happy to start with being a top 8 team. Haven't seen that for a while....

He’ll be much better suited at wing or centre

He's big but could be a real handful as a running half.

I'm happy to start with being a top 8 team. Haven't seen that for a while....

Fingers crossed this is the year. Rebuilding is a slow slow process
